Hurts has been terrible and definitely needs to be bench imo. But this fan base and thinking the second string qb is the next coming of Joe Montana is nuts. Right back to people wanting this same thing with bubby brister over cunningham lol

I don’t think anyone thinks McKee is the second coming of Montana. McKee gets the ball out faster and may give this version of the Eagles a better chance to win than a confused, indecisive Hurts does. Put the kid in and see if there’s a spark. Hurts might get his head out of his arse as a result and learn how this version of the offense needs to click and where he needs to go with the ball. He is clearly missing open guys often.

What Hurts has done in the past is irrelevant for 2025. What’s relevant is how he is playing now.

The threat of Hurts used to be his legs. Hes clearly lost a step and teams no longer have to spy him or plan for it.

Most of his runs this year seem to be 1 or 2 yards then slide or get out of bounds. I don't know if he lost a step or is so worried about fumbling or getting tackled but him running is not the weapon it used to be. I am pretty sure Siri is gonna stick with Hurts to a first round playoff exit (if they even manage to make the playoffs).

It would be nice to see coaches start holding players accountable. If you play like poop you sit ... regardless of your status. Obviously their messaging (having to execute better) isn't getting through.

I agree that the coaches should drop the hammer on these guys. That's not the real problem though. There's another obstacle that cannot be overcome. We have and incredibly kind hearted man as an owner. I expect he will protect Jalen's starting position as long as he can, which will be much, much longer than he should. I believe that Jeffrey will prevent the disciplining of QB1 until it is laughably far too late.

Either revert back to Jalen's skillset or start over at the QB position. Even Kyle Brandt on Good Morning Football said this morning, what happened to the tush push, their bread and butter?? You in a goal line situation you go to the tush push four times in a row, you will eventually score but nope, let's throw it. The threat of Hurts used to be his legs and he has obviously lost a step with that so teams are no longer game planning for that so they are literally daring him to beat them with his arm and since the current playbook has all of five plays in it so there is that...add to that consistently and constantly running Barkley right into the stacked box and this year teams have stacked the box to specifically limit his impact on the game and then there is that....we fans can sit here and perfectly analyze what is horribly wrong with this team and all we get in return is stupid Siri now talking about some goddamn rabbits....

We just really cannot defend him anymore as I have seen one of the worst displays of Quarterbacking since I have been watching football....you turn it over TWICE in one play....you throw 4 interceptions....

I really appreciate being around to see us win a couple of superbowls and some dynamite football but I really think its time to move on and get a traditional QB with all of this talent that is on this team because its being wasted....these past few years his flaws have been masked but this season everything that is lacking with Jalen is GLARING....

I agree for the most part, except not thinking anyone has the second string up there without knowing for sure. I didn't applaud or reference his past. All im saying it is an unknown

in 2000, a young tom brady replaced an injured Drew Bledsoe in a game, and won it, Bill B. went with his gut for the SB and started Brady over Bledsoe...won't know until we try, can it get worse? this season is a wash at this point, for all indications point to that. put McKee in and see WHAT we have

I am not disagreeing about putting him in...What i said was in reference to a few people I've seen this year anointing him the best. It has been this way since I can remember.

I would like to give him a chance and see what we have. I'm not sure what is so incomprehensible about what I'm saying lol.

I'm not advocating that Hurts should be benched for the next game in as much as I am that perhaps Hurts should have been pulled last night after throwing his 3rd INT. Basically sending the message ... you look like sheet, you seet. Let the other players see that if you are benching the star QB then anyone can be benched for poor play. Something needs to light a fire under their arses ... obviously the messages have not been getting through so far.

I understood what you meant. My thought is that Jeffrey won't let anything happen to Hurts no matter how bad he plays. Not for a long time. I'll be very surprised if he gets pulled for poor play in any game this season. Him being outright replaced? I believe that's unthinkable to Jeffrey and I do think it's too soon for that too.

IMO, he should/could have been pulled last night. He was atrocious.

I'd keep him as the starter for as long as the season is alive, I guess. Meh. Just for consistency and continuity sake. But if Dallas overtakes them for the Division, well then who knows what will happen.

Can't defend his play but it won't matter even if you do. With this inept coaching staff, stupid game plans, horrendous play calling, it won't look much different. This is as embarrassing as it gets. The Eagles will not win another game this season.

I doubt the $100M QB gets benched, however, we'd find out REAL QUICK if the issue is Hurts or the issue is Patullo/Sirianni. I just don't think the Raiders are a good barometer for that.

I've come to the conclusion that Hurts likes his receivers running out routes instead of over the middle because it helps create a running lane if he wants to take off, which would be fine, if he actually ran.

I agree, we are in week 15, to think that the offense is SUDDENLY going to click is absurd at this point. If McKee goes in and starts lighting it up, that sort of proves that it might be Jalen that is the problem, however if McKee goes in and the offense continues as is, we know it's most likely Sirianni/Patullo

LOL! mckee aint lighting anything up

Good grief this is depressing. You know what other QBs have played like dogshit this year at times? Mahomes, Lamar, Allen among others. Love, Baker, Herbert. Rodgers, Lawrence, Caleb. Burrow, Prescott, and any other QB you care to name. Some of this fan base has become insufferable.

I don't hate the guy.

I want him to succeed.

But his poor play is becoming a trend down the stretch.

Jalen Hurts = Russel Wilson

Unacceptable play these last 3 games! I don't care if he has a career game against the Raiders! I'd still boo him! He'd be unforgiven for a bit for these last 3 games!

Just stop, we all know he is not being benched.

It's not though, really. It's only since the coaches decided to force everything through AJ. Until then he was fine, especially in terms of ball security

They were barely pulling out wins most of this season, similar to 2023. Eventually the wheels fell off in 2023 after a ton of close wins and this is looking a lot like that. While the defense has been better than expected the special teams and offense are just not very good. Maybe it's Jalen, Jake, Coaching or all of them but overall they are not very good and somehow managed to get worse the more they try to "fix" things. With a few more "adjustments" they may just manage to eliminate themselves from the playoffs. It's like a slow train wreck.

Correct. Right now Jalen's job feels completely safe with his No Trade Clause and the organizations coddling. No one even needs McKee to be Montana, if he's even Alex Smith, the offense will probably look better. And the thing is, 2022 Hurts was great. If you look back at Hurts in 2022, you'll see how he was throwing people open, throwing with anticipation, I was a huge fan of 2022 Hurts. I thought it was truly some of the best Eagles QBing we've seen in some time.

But I will always struggle to support a QB who will not throw people open and not throw the ball on time. I've expressed this being a problem before.
