Got a burger and some tenders from Wendy's. I gotta admit, when you eat this junk very, very infrequently, it tastes pretty good lmao.

Unless I forgot something, the last fast food I ate was the summer before last. I used to eat it about once a month when I had less time.

I feel the same way about soda...I dont really care for it, but if I drink a glass after not having it for a very long time, it tastes amazing and I can almost feel a buzz as soon as I ingest it.

Wendy's went downhill fast in my area. I used to get it a lot in high school and a bit less often in college. Big Bacon Classic was my jam. After I graduated, I went years without it, then had kids and started to have it again on occasion and it's way worse than I remember. Most fast food is garbage, but chick-fil-a, shake shack, and five guys are enjoyable.

Oh and Culver's. They do a decent smash burger too with fresh toppings.

I made my son work there for 6 months when he turned 17, even though he has his own business and made tons of money for his age. He hated it lol.

I had Chik Fil A once, it was ok. I haven't had shake shack in a really long time.

Shake shack's quality of beef and the potato buns is what sets them apart. Chick fil A kinda does everything right, chicken is never dry, toppings are fresh, super efficient, but their waffle fries are my favorite. And even the shakes aren't bad.

For bugers I typically go to Red Robin because they have beer and its right near the movie theater. Their beef recently got a massive upgrade and is pretty good IMO. Not really fast food though, but close. Then there is Tacos El Tio, a local bar/restaurant that serve the best Mexican food ive probably ever eaten. Those are my go to for lunch out these days, along with a dive bar down the road that makes good sandwiches like chicken parm and French dip.

We don't go to Red Robin often because it's farther out and not really something we can pick up quick on the way home from soccer practice. We did just get a Raising Cane's in the area and even though their fries blow, their chicken strips are among the best I've ever had anywhere.

The Southern Charm burger is banging. I love BBQ style burgers with sauce and onions and ish. I think I was at a Mets game last time I had Shake Shack lol more often than not I make my wife and I lunch these days though, I was honestly shocked at how good Wendy's tasted to me hahahaha.

I received a $25 gift card to Shake Shack. I had a double burger, fries and a milkshake. My wife had chicken sandwich, fries and a soda. The bill was around $34. It was good; but expensive.

The last time I had fast food of any kind was 7 years ago. I used to love Taco Bell when I was a teen and in my early 20's. It was my all time favorite. My standard order was a big beef meximelt, Chilito, and Chalupa supreme. I was on a long road trip by myself about 7 years ago, and I started thinking how awesome it would be to stop at a Taco Bell and get that order. I stopped. None of those items were on the menu anymore so I got a soft taco supreme and a burrito. Absolutely F'n disgusting. Like inedible. Never again.

When we are on road trips now, we always go Wawa which I don't consider to be fast food, just kind of a deli on the go. If there are no wawas we tend to be able to find Sheetz or something similar where I can just get a made to order deli sandwich.

I can't do the fast food burger anymore. They just taste greasy and nasty to me. I love a good restaurant/pub burger though. This one is my all time favorite but obviously only for very special occasions. It's called the pickleback, its done in a Jamison whiskey demi glace with 2 fried pickles. Pure magic.

Yeah, like I said its been over a year. I never really liked the taste of any of it, but there's something about having it after a very long period of time that makes ot taste better

I feel that way about soda. Does morning for me at this stage of my life, but that one Coke I drink every few years tastes so damn good.

Culver's and In N Out are both great.

I can't remember having Shake Shack. I have had Steak & Shake, which I liked.

Del Taco is great for Mexican American food. It's 20x better than Taco Bell. Everything is much fresher there.

I like to try local/regional fast food chains: Culver's, Cook Out, Del Taco, Mighty Taco, etc.

If you are ever in Oregon, Burgerville is a nice little local chain. Their seasonal items are really good.

In N Out fries suck. Acme freezer aisle level fries cooked in a deep fryer. "Animal style" is an excuse to dump a bunch of crap on top of them to distract you from the fact that you're eating fried potato flavored styrofoam.

I've heard from a ton of people that the fries are straight up trash. When I was in California I didn't even bother with in and out because I don't want crappy fries with my burger.

We just got our first Taco Bell. I'm not planning on eating there. Mind you, I loved it back in high school. We used to go there after cruising around drinking six packs.
