Oh well, we have a better road record than a home record this season.

Going healthy is important but getting the second seed was important too. Eagles just blew a perfect opportunity. It is never easy to win on the road in playoffs and winning in Chicago and Seattle. Eagles just made hard on themself. It will backfire them. Or maybe not cause they must play the 49ers and with this Eagles offense i have zero confidence.

Make no mistake, even with most of our starters sitting out, that game was still winnable. When you have a lead late in the 3rd quarter and a RB that was averaging 4.7 yards/carry, it was beyond stupid to NOT give him the ball for the rest of the game, especially when you have a QB struggling. Bigsby never saw the ball again in the final 17 min of the game (4th quarter plus 2 min remaining in 3rd). 40:16 pass to run ratio is just retarded. KP is in waaaaaayyyyy over his head.

And I think that’s what is really troubling me going in to the playoffs. We know the defense is legit and one of the best in the NFL. We know we have elite weapons on offense who can help win games. We have every opportunity to go on a run. We have a formula that wins games. Look after the ball and win on defense. And yet our OC and play caller is a freaking moron.

The formula that is defense heavy to win games is run the football and play defense. We haven't been able to run the football.

I don’t disagree with you but… The OL has had a weeks rest. Saquon has had a weeks rest. Jalen I think will run more in the playoffs. And whilst we haven’t run the ball well this year there’s also been times where we just completely go away from the run even though it’s having a bit of success. And why not just use Tank more with that one cut and hard running style? Like on Sunday they just went away from Tank and the run even though they had the lead and were having success running?

I just think they need to adjust their expectations for the run. They aren’t going to get many big big plays like last year. They aren’t going to get like 5 yards a carry, but if they can just get 3-3.5? Make third down more manageable and rely on the defense? I just don’t trust Patullo or Sirianni to call a decent game.

When the run blocking is consistently winning, you can really help a defense by shortening the game. When the run blocking is losing, you actually heap a ton of pressure on the defense to win the game. You can take some of that pressure off the defense by scoring. So if we face an opponent where we are struggling to control the LOS offensively, I'd like to see us go into an up tempo offense. I believe it would help us tremendously offensively. It probably wouldn't give the defense more rest, but if it helps us score more points it could help the defense in other ways (like making opposing offenses one-dimensional).

We don't always have to take the play clock down to 1 second.

This is dangerous if not done carefully though, because it can have the opposite effect. I can see why you might suggest it as a last resort however...but remember the Chip Kelly situation...
