Posted January 3Jan 3 Finally watched this. Pretty good except it was extremely creepy how much the show over sexualized the 17 year old daughter in season 1. They should have just had her as 21 or something if they were going to do all of thatIt was kind of funny how they made her and the mom super ditzy in season 2 though
January 6Jan 6 Are you watching season 2? It airs on Sundays. I agree that the ex-wife and daughter scenes are pretty ridiculous, but there's a few that are pure comedic gold. Nate and Dale crack me up as well. Overall, I am enjoying the show although reviews think this season has gone off the rails. I think there's only one or two episodes left.If you haven't seen Season 2 ep. 7 don't read this. It is one of the most absurd but yet hysterical opening scenes I've ever seen. In my life.'Landman' season 2, episode 7 offers sweet romance + a shocking scene we can never unsee [spoilers alert]
January 7Jan 7 I’ve been trying to get into this show but I feel like it is just absolutely nothing happening. I didn’t watch all of Season 1 admittedly but my wife has been making me watch every episode of Season 2. Season 2 is just driving while on the phone, occasional talks with dad, occasional check ins with Andy Garcia that could have been an email and Ali Larters boobs.
January 10Jan 10 Author I’m caught up. It’s pretty funny. The banter with the character is great. Adding in the grandad as was a good ideaI figured that woman that hooked up with the son was misplacing her grief and the son kind of not knowingly took advantage of it. She move on from her dead husband quick as hellThe banter between Tommy, Dale, and Nate is pretty good. This last episode when Dale was begging for the stripper and the grandad said get your own physical therapist lolI am curious what they plan to do for the show thoughDoes the new CEO’s idea to drill end up working and they make a killing or does it fail and the cartel comes in and gets his money Does the son end up being some genius who can find oil?The mom and daughter doing this old folks side gig is funny. Seems like they removed the character having a boyfriend and just does things with her mom now

Trust me. But at first I thought it was going to build and build more and more issues bigger and bigger like a breaking bad or Ozark. It really just seems to be a dramedy at this point. Still, on a scale of Jalen Hurts to 10 it's a solid 9.
January 19Jan 19 Author FinaleHad a feeling they’d have Ainsley and her roommate become friends in the endI laughed at him saying just send the rest and boom a car pileup happens lol. I think a better line afterwards would have been something like "I take that back"Lol I like the lawyer. Her and then Tommy going scorched earth was entertaining Sounds like they used the song from Vikings in the backgroundIt was funny how he’s still driving the car and using the jet after being fired. The new CEO is clueless lolWonder what the drama will be now that he's got his own company. Battling environmental people? Other oil companies? Mtex? People finding out he's partnered with the cartel?Hope the grandad and the stripper come back. That was good comedyAinsley at cheer camp while her brother owns an oil company lolgood season
January 19Jan 19 I felt like that season was mostly all filler (which I still enjoyed) and all of a sudden they hit a grand slam in the season finale and it was amazing. Can not wait for another season.
