I have zero faith that the offense can score more than 17 points.

I think they probably score 17 points but unfortunately all in the first half.

Yup. And in the 2nd half.....punt, punt, punt , missed FG.

We lose 22 - 17. 😬

Maybe we'll get lucky and the defense will prevent the opponents from scoring while also scoring for us lol

Niner fans now pushing the narrative that the Eagles are "disrespecting" the Niners by intentionally tanking that last game so they can get the 3rd seed.

Even more proof that insufferable fanbase is dumb as hell.

So they’re as stupid as they are whiny. ✔️

If have been looking but unable to find any updates for Cam and Landon. I assume they are practicing. They are my biggest questions going into the playoffs. They have had very down years due to lingering injuries. I don't expect them to be 100% and they will have a huge impact of the effectiveness of our offense.

This team is made of champions. From the recent reign of the Bulldogs to the Pedigree of Alabama and even North Dakota State. Crowned by Slim who is only the 5th player ever to win a Hesiman, a college national championship and a super bowl. Many of this teams players have lived in the spotlight their whole lives. They know what it takes to win on the biggest stage at all levels. They'll be ready, don't you worry.

There is a saying in all levels of competitive sports that you save your best for the playoffs. If it's not on tape then opponents can't prepare for it. We saw this last year when Moore opened up the playbook in route to the most points ever scored in the playoffs. He dangled Barkley in front of them and when they bit, he burned them, repeatedly. It's time to take the muzzle off, it's time to unleash the beast that lies within, it's time to turn the lights out and let the hunt begin.

From PE.com:

Jurgens not included on injury report (which likely means he is good to go). Dickerson did not practice but designated as "rest".

Johnson and Toth only 2 that are questionable (other than Ojulari who is still on IR but 21 day practice window opened). All others are a go.

Does this version of the blog close down if KP takes us to one and done?

This version of the blog??? rolleyes

Just like the path to the 2 seed thread, when they went out the window I locked that one up. I’ll do the same with this one if we bow out.

Whoops. I misread the title and thought this was a new blog created for the playoffs.

We should all be big GB fans tonight. If they beat the Bears and we win tomorrow then the next game is in Philly. Since there were quite a few that were upset we didn't play our starters last weekend knowing the 2 seed was on the line (wanting to host a 2nd rd playoff game as the main reason), well we could potentially have both even though we lost the regular season finale ... having rested our starters and have that 2nd round game here in Philly.

I’m with you, but you know what’ll happen to Eagle fans if Packers win and Eagles then go on and lose. Denying one more game for the Philly faithful, pandemonium.

If the Bears lose then we most likely face the Rams in the divisonal. I'm not really scare of the Bears, even in Chicago. I'd rather let the Seahawks and Rams face each other.

The only teams Eagles fans should be rooting for throughout the playoffs (other than the Eagles) are the Panthers, Packers and to a lesser extent the Rams - would secure us homefield advantage throughout the playoffs as long as we continue to win.

Looking like it’ll be the other Johnson (Fred) manning RT tomorrow.

If Eagles expected an early loss by the Bears they were just wrong. Now if they win they will travel to Chicago instead of playing at home.

Not happened. That's why you play for a seed.

Yep. I agree. I said it all week long and was in utter disbelief when they said they were resting the starters with the #2 seed on the line.

Never in my 30+ years of watching the Eagles have I seen them "rest starters” when a high seed was on the line. Mind boggling.

Well we now know that should we win today (**knock on wood**) our next game will be against da Bears in Chicago. It sure looked for 3/4 of the game like GB was going to come away with the W.

But first things first ... need that W today! Go birds! Eagle_smiley

I think it ends today. But if not Chicago is beatable and LA/Seattle would be tough either way.
