Um, ok. Is Trump shutting down our military bases, or is he actually increasing our military budget?

You guys are just arguing with made up straw men at this point

No. But, those bases are allowed to exist at the pleasure of the host country. If the hand is overplayed, there will be no choice.

That's true but the host country usually relies on the revenue from our troops to help boost their economy and it take a whole lot to get them to even consider giving that up. That said, whatever issues he has with European leaders personally (and he may have those issues for good reasons) it would behoove US if he would dial it back a good bit.

The problem is Miller who is involving himself more and more outside of his role a a deputy chief of staff.

Lol in here white knighting for Obama who was a horrible POTUS and literally did nothing when Putin invaded Crimea.

He kicked them out of the G8 which is more than anything Trump has done to them. Trump wants to let them back in.

Oh no! That must have really discouraged them from further aggressions!

Lol at the pleasure?

Wrong, they are reliant on us for security and will continue to be, and Trump knows it and leverages that to all of our benefit. Europe has gone soft as charmin, you should be thankful for his leadership on your continent

Waaaah waaaah Trump didn't clean up Obama/Bidens mess fast enough, I better vote for Kamala Harris!

I'm not "white knighting" for anyone. Just pointing out your usual partisan hypocrisy. Yes, Obama did nothing when Putin invaded Crimea. As I have said many times on here, I think Obama's lack of a reaction to Russia invading Crimea is what gave Putin the incentive to invade Ukraine when Biden was president, thinking that we wouldn't do anything, just like the last time. Just because you're a partisan hack who reflexively defends everything Trump does, doesn't mean that's how everyone else operates.

As per usual, you agree but won't admit it because your afraid of the TDSers in here.

Just admit you're MAGA, embrace it

Yes, at the pleasure meaning that the host nation may withdraw their permission to have a base. It has happened.

But it won't though, not with Trump at the helm. And you know it.

It has a higher probability precisely because Trump is at the helm. Trump's Greenland fascination will force that.

Um...ok?

The thing is that if we did take over Greenland, we wouldn't be able to move anything from it because of the Jones Act.

LOL - that's a great point I hadn't considered.

And what evidence do you have to support this?

Trump has contributed to global stability whereas the incompetent, perpetually-behind-the-curve Dems sow chaos with their fecklessness and lack of vision.

And whaddya know, speaking of total lack of vision....

Trumps entire interest in Greenland is to invest and upgrade their infrastructure to support our defense.

Maybe, but he wouldn't be doing what he's doing if Trump really didn't want him to.

Ah yes, the Jones Act, that bastion of upgraded infrastructure.

Look buddy, I understand that these sci fi fever dreams like colonizing Mars and Greenland Real estate in the year 2150 is what passes as "vision" to the terminally online right wingers. it would be awesome if Trump actually picked one of these pet projects and made it reality. But as always, your falling for it again and will be left with your D in your hand defending this nonsense when he moves on to something else in a couple weeks.

Yawn

Your party would have opened up child transition centers in Greenland as their major infrastructure upgrade.

Your party is full of idiotic clowns and all of your fellow voters have brain damage due to TDS. It's comical to see you all fumble over every little thing Trump does because you've already made him out to be Satan

Little thing? Ripping up NATO and invading greenland? We only take this half seriously because Trump and his top goons say we must.

A couple of years ago people laughed off Trump’s idiotic love affair of annexing Greenland. It’s been a pattern ever since he was voted in by the dumbest people to ever call themselves Americans. All of our adversaries are just sitting by and eating their popcorn as this idiot is single-handedly destroying the greatest alliance ever established. And they don’t have to shoot one single bullet, as it’s being wrecked from inside.

Oorah for the simpletons from WV etc. who don’t understand what an attack on Greenland would accompany in the aspect of war. They’d rather cozy up with their leader’s pals in Peking and Moscow instead of maintaining their long lasting alliances with friends & in many ways, families abroad. How could we ever let it come this far?!?

He's not ripping up NATO at all. None of the nonsense fear mongering sold by the Dems has come true.

The result of this will, yet again, lead to a stronger West and strengthen our position as the biggest global power.

Wrong yet again.

TDSers are unable to analyze literally any political issues at this point because you've deluded yourselves. You have completely forgotten what a strong POTUS actually looks like and how all other nations fall in order accordingly

Go ahead and show me any evidence at all that our "adversaries"--whoever the hell you might be referring to--have benefitted one iota from this.
