If Trump does actually take military action against Greenland I believe that Denmark will defend itself and NATO will in fact be over. This imo, would be the other shoe dropping (the first being jan.6). Full on global crises and the end of the United States as the leader of the free world.

There would be no more slippery slope, no more razor's edge. This would be it both internationally and internally and we have reached the 50/50 probability that it's going down.

Between Greenland, Fed stuff, and the ICE crap you'd think the US public will start to turn more anti Trump. Not to mention all the other stuff. I think the Fed and Greenland are the two that lots of the GOP will have a real problem with and the ICE stuff are going to be an issue for them in the midterms. I suspect Trump will answer all of that with a double and triple down. The Greenland thing is so stupid as the minerals and the use of the territory by NATO led by the US is all wide open.

Perhaps Norway would be willing to reach out to Trump and explain that a settled deal with Greenland to strengthen all of NATO and the Arctic region is the key to winning the next Peace Prize.

It’s crazy still seeing so many people defend all of the lunacy of this dangerous reality show. You’d think there are some bridges that people wouldn’t cross for this fool, but you see it every day.

It’s not even about a certain type of policy that this administration is invoking. Some of them have actually been good, like closing the southern border for example. Problem is that these clowns take things to even higher and extremer levels, which are then damaging their policies. You’re right that he will double and triple down on his demented goals, as that has been his way throughout his life.

Dangerous is that he only sees this as a short goal for himself. He doesn’t care what comes next. No matter how bad a shape the country is in after he is gone, he will say that America never prospered as much as under his watch. Consequences mean nothing to him… the world doesn’t work that way!

We can string him along by holding the Peace Prize out in front of his nose. Add some blond highlights into Princess Ingrid's hair and have her do a solid reverse grooming job. The 5 year old will fantasize about the award and Ingrid while he's eating quarter pounders at night. Once he's gone the prize can be rescinded based on the ole "new evidence has come to light" reasoning and the real prize can be given to Ingrid.

This is probably a bigger reason for his extreme actions than anything else. Epstein Files are really bad, but the thought of going through Impeachment again and losing power is driving most of his craziness. I'm not seeing a path where the GOP keeps the House so the impeachment thing is surely going to happen. Conviction is another thing but possible. Going to need nearly 20 Repubs in the Senate to convict. Seems highly unlikely but they probably have 5 or so right now and Trump is going to continue to do stupid stuff and everyone has a line (just like everyone has a price). Maybe they decide they don't want him around in '28 and take him out in early '27. One can hope.

Under normal circumstances you’re spot on with the GOP losing the house. I’m just very wary about the way the elections will be conducted. His corrupt administration and their followers have so much to lose that they will go to all lengths in stopping a democratic win. I’m mean the dude cheats at everything and if he doesn’t win, it’s rigged. Are you confident about the elections after all the crap they tried in 2020? They’ll have an offensive gameplan and it’s not going to be Patullo-esque.
