D has given up too many big plays against a very depleted offense but shanahan is still a good coach and play caller and Purdy is a good QB. D is not the issue in this game.

This game would be over in cruise mode with a decent offensive coordinator and play calling. This entire game is the offense. if the offense was delivering based on field position it would be 8mins left with a 14-17 point lead and Niners would be forced to throw throw throw with no balance in the offense playing right into the D. But here we are.
