Coaches salaries don’t count against the cap

Thank you.

Now I wonder if theres a limit, or effectively a cap, in what Lurie/Eagles will pay for his coaching personnel?

It should be unlimited after this debacle.

Roob’s nose hair is glorious on a 90” screen! worthy

Coaches salaries have nothing to do with the cap, i do believe.

Thanks. Didnt know or I was simply too lazy to look it up on the Googles. 😄

The window will never be as large as it was this season. What a complete disappointment all around. Defense will suffer next season with free agency. The offense will get pared down for cap reasons.

The one and done at home against a depleted whiners team stings bad. Hopefully the coaching problems get addressed as well.

It was a good run.

Our scheme and plays are at college level at best. Some of the decisions are high school level.

Straight up preseason vanilla. KP definitely has to go and sadly AJ is gone too. He just let us down too many times tonight when Hurts made the play is needed. Elliott's time is up too!

Hope lane feels good about sitting this one out

Sadly, time for Lane to go too.

168 passing yards. That is super awful. His strength is being s dual threat qb. Once they told him it was ok to just be a pocket passer (which he rolls out of anyway) we were automatically behind the curve. You pay all of that money and can't tell him how you want the play to be.

Of all the completed playoff games so far, he is the only quarterback to not pass for 200 yards. Three-quarter backs passed for 300+, and the rest that passed for 200+ had more rushing yards than Jalen hurts.

Brady’s right. Once we get some momentum on offense, we slow everything down. Put some pressure on the defense and keep things moving. That’s been our offense since the start of the year. It’s like we’re running out the clock from the first snap.

Good chance LaFleur gets fired in Green Bay. Would you bring him in?

I’d bring in anyone with a pulse over KP. But seriously, someone who has experience and can keep Siri in check. Lafleur, McDaniel, …..heck, Norm Chow if hes still alive and available.

K.Patulo and the lack of adjustments, killed the offense along with AJ Brown funk, Lane's Liz frank, and the mediocre performance from the rest of offensive line .

Could have been so much more. If they would have brought in OC Advisor ..things could have been much better with the plenty of talent to go around.

Everyone saw the issues, all season. Nick was too blind or too stubborn to see the obvious issue.

He should be fired for wasting a year of these player’s life with his terrible mismanagement and wasting the fans money and support for intentionally failing.

All of that minus an injury - is on The HC.

OC is the problem all season long. Remarkably, Siri has been able to protect his buddy from losing his job, or to the least, part of his authorities as OC. With the season now over, team top brass is free to step in to make change. 2 seasons ago, Siri was able to keep his job despite a poor season. This time around, he would face some harsh questions. Even as a SB winning HC, if he can't give an acceptable explanation of this past season and what to change going forward, he too could be gone.

In my opinion, not only is it not a great look for the org to fire the HC a calender year after winning the SB but they'd be starting the process super late. That said, Nick sticking around depends entirely on how much he wants KP to be the OC next year.

If we didn't all watch pretty much every offensive snap this year an argument could be made that the offensive line behing hurt is what really did the offense in. However it wasn't just that, adjustments were nowhere to be foundand play calls were every bit of random as all hell. Simply put, KP CANNOT be the OC.

Who cares what a "good look” is. "What have you done for me lately”

wasted an almost perfect roster with yet another "in-house” OC hire. Which now 2x in a row has led to completely failure on offense, lack of productive, predictable offense, and a HC that gets his buddies to take bullets for him.

You have a HC arguing with a start player on the sideline, in the playoffs, in the first half.

You have a HC who has MATT PRYOR as the backup tackle after all of the off-season and pre-season.

A HC who gives Tank Bigsby flashes of greatness and mutes him for literally entire halves/games/stretches instead of using him as the spark.

A HC who has a top offensive salary cap compilation severely underpinning and relying on the cheapest defense in the NFL.

A HC who continues to show that he brings NOTHING to the table when it comes to offensive output, X’a and O’s scheming, and galvanizing a group after their heads hang low.

This guy gets ALL of the credit for taking an AMAZING roster to the SB and Fangio’s defense kicking the hell out of teams. You should win 12-13 games a season with what you’ve been given. Any time this team loses in the first round, it might as well be going 8-9 and missing the playoffs. Yes, it’s THAT much of a failure, except our draft pick sucks more.

Not to mention, losing to a 49ers team with literally street linebackers, 4th string receivers, no Kittle, and a banged up OL. AT HOME.

This guy sucks and the job Howie has done is 10 fold the amount of responsibility for our success than Siriani has brought. We’re only successful when we have elite coordinators.

Gannon, Johnson, KP, Desai, Patricia are all of Sirianni’s choices. Each time it’s the same song. Flopping, failing, confusing, lacking identity and creativity.

Only legendary defensive master Fangio, proven and elite output proven Kellen Moore, and poached and Steichen proving himself formidable in Indy have done better than horrific in crucial moments/adversity.

I don't mean the optics of it to media or fans, I meant to any potential future HCs.

When Nick isn't fired are you gonna boycott the Eagles until he's gone?

this sickens me. I live in the SF Bay Area and these fair weather fans annoy the snot out of me. They get so arrogant when their team wins but they hide like cockroaches when they suck. At least us Philly fans are jerks all the time lol

the thing is these guys have to grow somehow. Johnson, Patullo, someone has to give them a shot. Look what happened to McDermott here in Philly and now he's one of the best coaches in the league. I do agree you shouldn't have a rookie OC on a team that's competing for the championship, however, guys like KP are the future of the NFL. They have to cut their teeth somewhere

I don't even care that we're not repeating. I just wanted to beat the Niners. I hate SF more than I hate Dallas.

Brown missed about 60, Hurts wasn't good, nobody was, but a few people hold onto decent but not perfect balls they've got to catch and this game is winnable, but everyone in the league knows what our passing game is about, and they just sit on the routes now, meanwhile Shanahan is running rings round our league leading pass defense with Brock Purdy and his WR #3 & #4, scheming guys wide open multiple times with deceptive play design, all while we run the same tired old routes that we always do, vanilla with not a single new wrinkle.

I cannot for the life of me fathom how Patullo, who gave us the most inventive goal to go plays we've had in the last decade can be so 'two minutes of lights out missionary position once a week, forever' offense on the rest of the field.

The whole team looked sloppy, the secondary played their worst game of the season against as easy a play off assignment as you'll get once Kittle went out, the pass rush got held a lot but even so they never really looked like getting there, where was Nakobe crashing down through the gap on McCaffrey like a force of nature and shoving him back into Purdy? Baun and Epps took horrible angles and overran the ball carrier all night, Blankenship looked like the worst of his rookie year again.

The starters played like they'd had 2 weeks sat by a pool rather than practising, like they thought they just had to turn up and they'd win somehow and instead their luck ran out.

Everything that was bad about this season all showed up in this game. The penalties, the sideline drama, the second half anemic offense, the drops, the struggles to complete passes, the lack of offensive ingenuity. The Eagles were never able to overcome themselves. In a weird way this all checks out for a Sirianni season. First round playoff bounce, following year SB, next year first round bounce, the next year SB, now we are back to the first round bounce, so next season???

I really hope that the people in charge see through nicks BS and put him on serious notice. The OC should be gone, but i'm sure nick will argue all he can to keep his buddy. But ultimately its making him look bad too and his loyaty could potentially cost him his job. You can hear him now "Kevin has done remarkably well in this first season as OC. He will take this as learning and get better if given the opportunity."

Swing the axe howie/lurie.

Swing it for the players that have let us down too.
