Patullo HAS to go. Like there can be no debating it and no stating a case to keep him. He got less out of the offense than the sum of its parts. He should already be gone and if they don’t announce it very early this week then what are they playing at!

But Sirianni should also be gone. As the CEO HC he is meant to be what has he done well this year? He didn’t fix the sloppiness, he didn’t fix the really bad discipline, he didn’t help the offense. For a lot of the season the culture was bad. And whilst he’s HC things aren’t going to be consistently better on offense.

He’s done a great job and I know for that reason he probably will (and perhaps should) get more time. But the reality is he’s overseen some real lows to go with the real highs. When things aren’t going well he hasn’t done a good job at turning it round in season.

Sirianni was part of the 2023 collapse and couldn't fix it. Howie hired Moore in '24 and we won a SB. Sirianni cannot run an offense. If he couldn't we would have never seen '23 or the slide this year. Boot 'em both out the door.

I really hope that the people in charge see through nicks BS and put him on serious notice. The OC should be gone, but i'm sure nick will argue all he can to keep his buddy. But ultimately its making him look bad too and his loyaty could potentially cost him his job. You can hear him now "Kevin has done remarkably well in this first season as OC. He will take this as learning and get better if given the opportunity."

Swing the axe howie/lurie.

Swing it for the players that have let us down too.

I really don’t think KP is surviving this.

Crazy game.

If you would have told me before the game that Saquon would have 100 yards, that SF lost their TE to an injury, that SF QB would throw 2 INTs, I would have been like.........weeeeeeeee! Eagles win by 2 scores.

Hate to say it, but I'm kind of glad the season is over.

Regroup, refocus, rest up, get healthy, come back with a vengeance in 2026!!! 🦅😊

That trick play from SF was cool. I love Blankenship, but, how does he not see CMC running down the field, right past him?? His eyes should never have been on the backfield. They needed to be on CMC the whole time. UGH. 😩

Coaches:

Sirianni has proven that he can't run an offense. He was a WR coach who was promoted way too fast and skipped over the 5-10 years of developing as an OC. To stay here: He 100% needs an OC who can run an offense completely and who won't leave after 1 year. If there aren't any top shelf OC's available who will stay for the long term, then a new HC who can run an offense is the answer. In hindsight, they should've kept Moore as the HC. Howie has to go find Moore's equal or better. Thanks Nick. Best of luck.

Patullo - Sell insurance, drive a truck, be a high School coach because your offense fits that level. Whatever you do, thanks for trying the football thing here, I guess, and good luck elsewhere.

Loeffler - Jalen got no better and looked like he regressed quite a bit under this coach's tutelage. Fire him with Patullo so KP has company while he's leaving. It's the emotionally intelligent thing to do.

Players:

AJ Brown - draft day trade. Go fleece them Howie. No f'ing crybabies with alligator arms allowed on the Eagles...NONE EVER. Some team will give a lot for him. Let them.

Blankenship - Needs to be upgraded as his pass coverage skills are substandard. Good tackler in the run game but can't cover. Not a starting caliber safety. Might be a ST demon.

A. Jackson - Need an upgrade here as well. If Adore is the 4th CB, fine. He's not a reliable CB2.

Epps - He's an OK backup filling a starting role. Need a true starter at this Safety position as well.

Jurgens - looks weak since his back surgery and holds way, way too much. If his lack of strength is causing it, upgrade his position. Sadly, lingering back problems never return to 100%. It sucks, but it's true. I like him but a bad back for an O-lineman is the death knell of his career.

L.Johnson - Get him 100% healthy and understand he may have reached the end. A new starting RT is in order, even if it's a veteran to compete with Lane for the starting job. Sure Lane might win his job, but the writing is on the wall here and the new guy can take over after next season when Lane's contract is up.

Steen - Looks like a backup quality O-lineman filling a starting role. Need a much stronger RG who moves the pile.

Dickerson - This guy is hurt/injured every year and it shows every year. He stayed in college for 5 years because he had a season ending injury each of his first 4 years. Both ankles and both knees were repaired. One for each of those years, which is an insane injury history. If he's healthy, he's great, but he's NEVER healthy. Bring in real competition for him as well for the next time he's out or trying to play at 50%.

Mailata - NO replacement needed but speed rushers giving him too many problems. Maybe lose 10-15 lbs. to get quicker for pass pro sets.

Calcaterra - Mr. Can't-block-aterra-to-save-my-life is a 2nd tier pass catching only TE. He's a backup level talent. The team needs a true TE1 prospect behind Goedert, assuming Goedert is here for a few more years.

There's more that needs to be done to build a complete team with the right attitude and discipline (players and coaches), but I just needed to get started with the one's that annoyed me the most. The O-line really got under my skin this season with their uneven and substandard play.

It goes without saying that Patullo has to be gone but I also think the WR coach needs to go with. No WR has improved here at all, actually the opposite and we never can find a reliable #3

or should iI say he hasn't developed one in 4 years.

Once the whiners scored on that play to CMC where Blankenship effed up, I knew we were going to lose. I wasnt even mad because I knew they would fall short on the final drive. They should've rushed to score imo because this offense is better in hurry up.

KP needs to go, Nick stays. Lurie, Nick and Brown need to have a meeting where they decide if AJ is staying or going. We need to draft replacements for Jurgens and Lane.

They should go the Fangio route when looking for an OC, by that I mean, don't go out and get a rising star, because they will be gone in a year. If Fangio was a "rising star" and not a guy who has been around the block, HE would be a HC this season, someone would have stolen him...go find a guy who has been around the block, maybe even an ex-HC, a guy who is not looking for the next HC opening....one name that I've heard that might be interesting , and he has history with Hurts is Brian Daboll, after NYG he wouldn't be considered for a HC job for at least a couple of years...

Yeah, there’s not a ton on OC’s that fit the Fangio mold. Maybe Daboll, definitely Reich and Pederson. Do they really want to go that route?

One thing they can never, ever do again is hire an inexperienced play caller since Nick can’t take over the play calling if he fails. In fact, I think they need to hire multiple guys who really understand offense. Make one an offensive asst/Ob coach and the other OC. Whatever, because Nick is useless.

^^^^^^

Agree with your entire second paragraph.

Hopefully, Howie and the Owner realize this by now.

In yesterday game, when they failed to score TD after the 2 INTs by Q, the fate had already sealed. They talk all the time about the importance of TO in game. Yet could not make that counted in score, all momentum would have been lost. OC and HC have to shoulder the blames and responsibilities.

I don't mean the optics of it to media or fans, I meant to any potential future HCs.

When Nick isn't fired are you gonna boycott the Eagles until he's gone?

Nope, but I’ll know that when things look awful they’ll stay awful. And when we have a good OC get poached, we’ll be failures the following season. I’m not sure that’s quite the pattern you want out of a HC.

Get a HC who can call plays while you have the luxury of Fangio - or start denying HC interviews of your OCs after a season.

Other coaches will know that their standards need to be high and their competency is on display every season. You don’t get to fail in the same ways every year and just fire the guy you hired to take the blame.

If you’re a HC who can’t call plays, can’t hire assistant coaching talent, can’t right the ship, and can’t get the best out of your roster you have no business getting leeway.

Agree completely. Q never gets picks and he got 2. That they got zero points off of those turnovers is pure ineptitude.
