Lucas Carneiro (K - Ole Miss) -- 2026 NFL Draft

A kicker ... really??? Yeah, I'm suggesting we use a draft pick on one. Elliott has been hit or miss this year. I would not be opposed to using a late round pick to grab a reliable kicker to compete with him. Carneiro is that ... reliable. And he has a big leg. We currently don't have any picks beyond the 5th in the upcoming draft but you know how Howie wheels and deals (almost too much IMO ... there are times where I wish he would just take a player with an earlier pick that is still available and highly touted and would fill a need but he decides to trade it for additional later picks, but that is content for a different conversation). Anyway, I'm sure he is going to add later picks on draft day ... we should use one on Carneiro.

I was thinking about that too but I believe the commentators said that he was going back to school because he was having too much fun at Ole Miss.

Despite that I would love to see what he could do in the pros, dude has got a cannon for a leg

If so I missed that. If he does return to Ole Miss next season I will just edit the topic title to Lucas Carneiro (K - Ole Miss) -- 2027 NFL Draft lol

LOL ... I would definitely take him on day 3 either this year or next year.
