I was not expecting Q since he doesn’t get the pretty stats. That’s awesome

Two 2nd year players making the all pro

lol their contracts just went up

Is it premature to say perhaps the best draft class in....dare I say...history? Hunt has become a player as well.

As far as 1st 2 rds the first that come to mind is Maclin and Shady in 09 and Lane and Ertz in 13 but neither were this good this early

The duo of Cooper DeJean and Quinyon Mitchell continues to make history.

DeJean and Mitchell were each named AP first-team All-Pros in their second seasons in the NFL. Mitchell was one of two cornerbacks named to the first-team while DeJean took the only spot for slot cornerbacks.

There are seven instances (twice in Eagles history: Keith Jackson and Eric Allen in 1989) in which a team has had its top two picks from a draft class earn first-team All-Pro honors within their first two seasons.

Only three times has it happened on the same side of the ball (2025 Eagles, 2001 Bears, and 1984 Rams).

DeJean and Mitchell are the first Eagles cornerbacks to earn first-team All-Pro honors since Lito Sheppard in 2004.

Great that they make All Pro together. Felt good when they were picked and like how they played and accomplishments. Praise to the FO on scouting well and maneuvered during the draft to land them.

Nice.

Safety Kevin Byard made it too. 🧐 The same Kevin Byard that Howie traded for??!!!🫣

Turns out he wasn't washed after all. Just came in mid-year with two terrible DCs. Still not very fast but has instincts and is a ballhawk.

Yup really shows what a cluster F that 2023 Defense was where they made Baird look washed, then he goes to bears and makes all pro.

Abject failure by the eagles coaches that year.

I thought Jordan Davis had a shot at second Team, hes had a great year, oh well at least not making it will lower his contract potential if eagles decide to pay him.

Its a fantastic class and right up there with 2002 and will probably surpass it.

For the Birds:

Philly 2002

1 Lito Sheppard

2 Michael Lewis

2 Sheldon Brown

3 Brian Westbrook

*7 Raheem Brock (40 sacks for Indy)

Overall

Pittsburgh 1974

1 Swann - HOF

2 Lambert - HOF

4 Stallworth - HOF

5 Webster - HOF

Honorable Mention:

SF 1981 (90 picks from 3 DBs who started on the 1981 SB Champs)

1 - Ronnie Lott - HOF

2 - Eric Wright

3 - Carlton Williamson

That team had similar instant secondary transformation comparable to the 2024 Eagles.

Sign me up for 4 SB wins in 9 years please!

The best part about that draft was the Niners had a chance to get Coop but instead went for Ricky I can't stay on the field Pearsall.

That's soooooo good to see. Remember a couple of years ago the mess the Eagles had at CB?

Eagles went from corner pariah’s to having two elite guys. It’s good to see.

When I said history I was just referring to Eagles. 02 was a great haul and iirc DeVonta and Landon were both 2021.

But 4 HOF in one class is likely to never happen again

The 2002 draft with Lito, Sheldon, Westbrook and Michael Lewis (not in that order) was pretty insane.
