If you can’t get calls at home as the defending SB Champs…

When can you?

Dotson and AJ blatant calls. Nothing.

7 calls for the undermanned 9ers.

1 for us at home.

Happened all year—

Nix and Dart sack fumbles that "weren’t”

No call on 88 to end the Denver game

AJ in Buffalo getting his arm ripped off.

I’m sure I’m missing 35 more …what a joke

Wouldnt have mattered much anyway, even if the calls came our way, Sirianni/Patullo factor is too much to overcome, Eagles were not making the Superbowl or winning it this year either ways..

Youre not wrong, seemed there was a concerted effort by the league and tefs this year to screw the eagles over.

I think some of it has to do with the blow back the league got for obviously propping up the chiefs and mahommes and giving them all the cslls.

Fans dont want dynasties manufactured by the league and the league is so hell bent on pandering to fans and creating parity that repeating as super bowl winners is really tough.

Its tough enough when the league is actively trying to keep you from repeating through insanely tough schedule and unbalanced refereeing but even tougher when against all that you have an idiot HC who hires an Idiot OC neither of which could coach their O out of a paper bag.

This season was doomed the day Siri announced Patullo as OC...☹️

More than anything - it has been "the situational” penalties - especially tonight.

Penalties negating huge plays (hundreds of yards in the Denver game) or critical first downs and even TD’s like tonight.

It’s beyond obvious to anyone who has watched football for more than a few years - the officiating was biased.

This season felt like everything was against the Eagles. The Eagles were one of the most penalized teams all year. The schedule was unrelenting.

The NFL's script is something, huh?

This loss was the result of a lot of things. The discrepancy in flags was noticeable. There were a few holds and the PI on AJ. That being said our coaches and player just didn't get the job done. The play calling, drops, ect.. This is how we played all year long and to think we would play any other way was just silly. We have way too much talent on both sides of the ball to put up a season like this. Time to make some difficult choices and bring it back next season.

The officiating stunk. But there is no way you can lose a home playoff game to a team missing Pearsall, Kittle, Ayiuk, Bosa, Warner, Bethune and playing deep reserves and practice squad guys at LB. This game should have been an easy win. Criticizing the defense is misplaced. You cannot expect a defense in the 2025 version of the NFL to completely shutdown any team. It may happen but you can't go into a game expecting it. The defense gave the O two turnovers in good field position and the O came away with three points. And mental case Elliott missing the XP was huge. It felt like the Eagles were chasing that point the entire game. I expected them to go for two after the second TD.

Every week it was the same story. Eagles have all the penalties and the opponent gets 1. It got so predictable that you knew when a flag was gonna be thrown.

Eagles were penalized like hell this season, that Denver game was brutal, league clearly didn't want Eagles in the Superbowl but they underestimated Sirianni/Patullo factor. Imo league didn't need to get the officials to determine the outcome of Eagles game because Sirianni/Patullo would have ensured Eagles don't make the Superbowl regardless of officiating..

Some of the officiating this year has been really bad and it didn’t help. But that’s no excuse. This team shot itself in the foot time and time again and that shouldn’t be overlooked.

Bad officiating or good aside, I don't really see a home field advantage playing in Philadelphia. That's why I didn't really care about the seeding after the #1 seed.

Once again, the 49ers came into our building and disrespectfully mobbed our players during the pregame warmups and the team didn't play all that well at home. I don't believe there's any evidence to support the idea the Eagles play better at home. As a fan there definitely doesn't appear to be any home pride by the players at home games.

Eagles averaged 6.9 penalties per game. They averaged 6 penalties per game last year. Ironic that you mention Denver. The #1 seed in the AFC, averaged 7.3 penalties per game. Good teams overcome penalties, they don't cry about it.

We are really using the refs as an example of game flow? The Eagles did nothing on offense with 2 INTs. The refs have been bad all year and so has the undisciplined Eagles team. Isn't that what the CEO coach is supposed to be up on? Attention to detail???

I said in the Game Thread that I didn't ever recall seeing a Receiver lined up wide of the O Line being called for a false start before it happened to us this year, and then it happened to us twice.

All the nit picking analysis of our snaps last year because of the tush push really came home to bite us in the ass this year because we got called for every pre snap twitch and fart.
