Saquon is an upgrade as a runner, but definitely not as a receiver. Heck, both Duce and Buckhalter were better receivers than Barkley. So was McCoy. I also don't think McNabb while an Eagle was ever out of his prime (for a QB). Great QBs typically play well into their late 30s.

For the sake of argument, let's say Hurts had the advantage of "weapons." Which QB, I wonder, had the advantage of coaching? I don't believe McNabb was a good fit as a WCO QB and I doubt Jalen is either, but isn't it reasonable to believe Jalen's career might have seemed a little different if put in McNabb's setting with Andy Reid?

I agree with you on the Saquon as a receiver part....

Now the other part....yes, I do believe Hurts would have looked different if put in McNabb's shoes under Andy Reid. AR was the man here for ten years and we know what he accomplished during is tenure but remember he also did not like a running game whatsoever.....he frustrated the hell out of me with that but it was exciting football every week watching the Eagles dominate every team they played especially once TO came to town....

It would definitely have Jalen's career looking alot different....look at what AR has done for KC....Siri, TO ME, is nothing more than a glorified cheerleader....even when they win ugly he is cheering like they really accomplished alot (that last regular season win where they were headed back and AJ Brown was just looking at him and shaking his head)....
