Eagles are going to be left with rehiring KP as the only option at this point lol

Yes, he's the only option left. There's absolutely no one else to hire. You couldn't be more right.

KP is not available, as he is now working as the Assistant to the Assistant OC, at my Great-Nephew's Middle School Football team. Indoor Flag Football League. Pretty competitive. They don't have much of a passing game though. I guess because the QB is only 11 years old.

😆😝

It's either the 19 year old kid or old arsed Jim Bob. 🙃🙃

Really?? I feel like he is waaayyy older.

I'm 54, but feel 27, I act 33, and look....uummmm let's go with 40. 😎🙃

But, unfortunately, this thread is not about me. #sadface

Yeah I was shocked too when I looked him up the other day lol. I'm 45 look I guess 45 lol. Geez I spent almost half my life on the damn board 🤣

Ben Johnson was 35 when Dan Campell promoted him to OC 2022 and he had never called plays. He was on the Lions staff as TE coach from 2019 when Campbell became the HC and retained him on his staff.

Id prefer Declan Doyle over Charlie Weis Jr. Probably over the guy on McVay's staff too. I think I would rather see him in at OC at this point and really shake things up. He is too young and new to be a 1 year OC->HC so they will get a couple years with him I think.

By all accounts I have seen he is good already and loaded with more potential. Much prefer this versus Jim Bob Cooter or Daboll or any of the other crap I am seeing.

Craig Carton was reporting that it’s Jeff Stoutland, who doesn’t want his role reduced as run game coordinator. I don’t believe that for a second. Stoutland is a legend here and shouldn’t have to give up any part of his role here.

speaking of Stoutland... how come he's never been considered for the OC position? I'm wondering if he just doesn't want it, or if he's really not capable

He's legendary at doing what he's doing. I wouldn't want to change it. Moving him away from the OL Coach position would weaken our OL.

Just think- if we had a decent OC this year, we beat every team in the NFC AND the Patriots to repeat. No lie- we would have won it all AGAIN, easily. I hate Siri. I hate Howie and Lurie for allowing that fake ass OC to take the job. I'll calm down later, but not right now. We could beat EVERY team that is left standing.

I don't think we would have beaten Seattle. Some times, it's just not in the cards for a team.

We're going to be back in 2026!!

I doubt it. They can't even get an OC..They are essentially running it back and the offense will be a failed disaster again,. Then the following season Eagles will essentially enter a rebuild mode with a new HC and looking for a QB, This team blew their shot at a dynasty by running with Hurts, and Siri.

Yeah the madness of running it back with the coach and QB that got you to two superbowls in 3 years, what sort of horses ass organisation does that?

McVay has as many Superbowl trips as Siri in 8 years and hasn't got to the Superbowl in 4 years are the Rams wasting their window keeping running it back?

I've said it before and I'll say it again. some of the people on this board deserve another multi decade wait to win it all, because you have absolutely zero sense of perspective.

On the OC question, I think a dark horse is Jake Peetz from the Seahawks, a former QB coach, turned pass game coordinator, just got consecutive 4000 yard seasons out of Geno Smith and Sam Darnold, worked under a variety of decent coaches at college and NFL level including McVay being at an SB team would also explain why we haven't appointed yet.

I don’t know how you can watch Seattle all year in the hardest division and think we’d have beaten them easily. Sure any given Sunday and all but they were good. Sure I’d take last years team over them but we were not last years team for many reasons. That’s the NFL. On to 2026

I’m not sure what’s appealing about the Texans offense now and being their QB after Stroud’s regression doesn’t seem like a badge of honor

It's pretty sad when I'm most excited about Matt Nagy from the current list.

Smith seems like he could be an under-the-radar find. He has a decent track record, seemingly. No experience calling plays and of course he was running McDaniels' offense the last 4 years...but he's more intriguing than Jerrod Johnson

Yuck. Picking a random name out of a hat might give a better chance of success.

Well that's kind of what we did this year.
