Well that's kind of what we did this year.

All the more reason to go with an unknown. Nagy has had a lot of chances and shown little.

Welp, scratch Doyle off the list. Wonder if he thinks it would hurt his career at this point if he took on the Eagles' OC job.

I think everyone suspects this is make or break for Nick and so if the offense looks like crap again then Howie/Lurie are probably cleaning house on offense including HC

I agree with this. The Offense better be markedly improved, and one or two playoff games need to be won...........or else.

Smith seems like he could be an under-the-radar find. He has a decent track record, seemingly. No experience calling plays and of course he was running McDaniels' offense the last 4 years...but he's more intriguing than Jerrod Johnson

About the only candidate less intriguing that Johnson from the current list is Nagy (probably Kafka too but that one is damn close). lol

I can't tell if this situation/search is laughable or cryable. 🙃🙃🫣🫣

I’m guessing Philly isn’t telling these guys they get full control over the offense. Which is laughable and cryable.

He's worked with his Dad and Lane Kiffin his entire career, it never made much sense to me that we looked at him in the first place, there's no guarantee he can do it on his own and this decision suggests he has doubts too.

Eagles' OC interviews:
Eagles: So, what do you think the problem is with the offense?
Candidate: You run too many hitches, verts and <record screeching to a halt sound>....

Eagles: Ok, thanks for your time, NEXT...

We couldn't even get Kafka 😭

I much rather have Kafka than Nagy. The question is who any good is left? Are we going back to KP? Saying that he is the most qualified to take the job out of all leftover candidates?

No to Kafka.

Would it be any Coach from Seattle or NE? Or Denver or the Rams?

Forget Kafka … he withdrew himself for consideration and took a job on Campbell’s staff in Detroit.

Oh shucks!! lol

Everyone, I just seen Juan Castillo at the airport.

Hire Clint Hurtt as OC before he takes another job!

Anyone else getting nervous? Lol. Go get Reich out of that made up job in Stanford. How about Pederson? We don't need a superstar OC (wouldn't hurt), just someone with multi year experience. Honestly thought people would be fighting for our roster.

I don't know if I would prefer a young, innovative, creative OC.

Or a grizzled, veteran, experienced OC. smoke

It's a conundrum because if the young guy fails the HC can't rescue him. If the old guy is good. He's a threat to the HC or gone after 1 year for a HC gig.

No one likes us, we might care?????? 🤣

Reich doesn't have that job anymore and Pederson sucks.

I heard earlier om WIP that a few coordinator candidates want to bring in their own position coaches, like oline. Apparently, stoutland has threatened to leave if his run game coordinator status is changed. This is pretty bad if we are letting a position coach dictate who we get.

Just get Frank Reich. He won a Super Bowl with us. What more could you want.

Did we forget how Nick Foles went back and forth with Tom Brady and won? That’s enough for me.
