Don't get me wrong I think we are a better team with AJ when he has his head on straight. I do hope they work it out for at least this season but, Smith can easily be a #1 on his own.

Based on what Siriani and Roseman said or didn’t say at the owners meeting, I think it’s more likely than not that AJ gets traded. Probably after June 1.

He's a Philadelphia Eagle is the most un-Howie type of answer I think I have ever seen. He went from we don't trade great players and AJ Brown is a great player (at the deadline) to it's my job to listen on all players (at the start of the off-season) to "he's an Eagle." I think it's pretty obvious the trade market just never materialized for him the way the Eagles had hoped or fans thought. At this point it looks he either goes to the Pats post June 1st for what I suspect will be an underwhelming return, or they just keep him and hope he doesn't have any major meltdowns for one more year.

Exactly. There was a change in tone and a lack of expansion. It was debatable whether they could have traded him prior in any event.

I don’t think it’s a foregone conclusion that he’s gone.

Jauan Jennings is an interesting potential short term replacement if he stays unsigned and gives us the big body replacement that we would need.

I swear there are daily "reports" from people like John Clark who keep ping ponging back and forth between he will be traded and won't be traded it's annoying AF.
