March 6Mar 6 After all the talk about the implications of trading him before June 1st and how it's essentially impossible and will hurt them in free agency plans...if they do end up doing it for a great haul of picks, and Howie is able to work out the deal financially then he truly is a wizard that can work out the cap like no one else. I mean he already is the best at it, but that would be something.

Team 1st...I'm really confused though... either someone is making things up or AJ is a liar. Bc right out of his own mouth when he was on Gronks podcast he said... I love Philly, this is my home, I wanna stay. And then he says nothing when they say we are all Patriots. It’s like he has a split personality.

Sorry, but that doesn’t fly. I think this isn’t going to be a quick decision. If teams want the Eagles to make a major talent and financial hit at this time they will need to pay up. The Eagles have a lot of holes to fill. They can’t afford to blow everything up just to make AJ happy and some rival team better. On 3/3/2026 at 5:55 PM, brkmsn said:The reason the Eagles can get higher compensation for him in a trade is because they are on the hook for a large part of his contract. So another team would be acquiring a top WR without a large cap hit.The thing about AJ is he wants to dominate opponents. If he can play for a team that passes a lot, he probably wouldn't appear to be problematic. So there may be better fits for him than the 2022-2025 Eagles offense. A trade would need to be a good fit for him and fair compensation for the Eagles to make any sense.

March 6Mar 6 I dont even believe we actually want to trade him...I believe we are asking for nonsense and if by a chance somebody offers us a nonsense we will ask for a bit more and nothing will happen anyway...

He’s on social media platforms telling people to drop him in fantasy and saying how miserable he is. He’s the one who decided to take to social media after a Super Bowl victory to say how unsatisfied he was. Then the playoff drops and the shouting with his coach. The rumored broken relationship between him and Hurts that current and former players have commented about. I mean I don’t view this s the fans overreacting. It just feels so schizophrenic at times, because he also talks about how he sees Philly as his home. In the end I want Howie to do what’s best for the Eagles and if that means keeping him until the best deal shows up then so be it. I really do wonder what went wrong here. Jalen used to throw him the ball in triple coverage and now it’s like he has to be wide open for Jalen to even look his way. How much of this is on Jalen? How much of this was on the OC and that crappy offense? How much of this is on Brown himself? Why can’t the HC get these guys on the same page considering that supposed to be his greatest asset? I don’t think it’s helped anyone that every year we see a new OC either.I think this has been the best take I have seen on the AJ situation thus far...bravoThat one point you made I have been wondering myself....are we tripping or is it truly what some of us have thought this entire time when it comes to Jalen? He has to be absolutely wide open for Jalen to throw to him now and sheesh, what went wrong there??

This team is getting gutted in free agency right now. It’s not as if the guys behind some of these players are elite either. Maybe Campbell, but the don’t even have a TE on the roster and after Brown and Smith the receivers are pretty much nothing. Might as well run a three back system. 😂

No wonder Fangio was considering retirement.

At times Jalen tried to force it to Brown and it simply didn’t work. So many hitch or go routes that the other team was ready for. Hopefully Mannion has some fresh ideas. Brown was a consistent 1500 yards receiver for the Eagles pre KP. I still don’t see how we trade AJ pre draft and remain competitive. The extra 20 million cap hit will basically wipe out our ability to sign free agents. So we would need to rely on Devonte and rookies. Not something a competitor would do.They may trade him post June, but if they did they would need to sign one of the better receivers in free agency. If we get Dobbs, Jennings, Diggs or Samuel then you can probably expect AJ to be moved.I still think best thing is play nice for one more year and then trade him next year before a loaded draft.
