Obviously a new OC will be introduced. But there are likely to be additional changes to the coaching staff, either additions to our staff or losing coaches to other teams as promotions to higher level positions. Will use this thread to keep track of all coaching changes throughout the offseason.

Damn, losing Parker to the Cowboys would suck. Hopefully he gets interest from other teams, I think he'll be a great DC.

Our passing game was a joke and out DB's other than Mitchell are pathetic. I know the players themselves are not that good but I doubt the DB coach makes any real difference.

What?! The passing defense was #1 for a few weeks. We finished 8th.

All-Pro DeJean is pathetic? Mukuba was playing well before he got injured. Reed is OK. Epps was very serviceable considering he didn't really start playing until week 14. Heck, even Jackson was decent once he settled.

And I'm pretty sure Parker must have had something to do with making Q the best CB in the league.

I was hoping he would succeed, but we just haven't had enough consistency or decent results from special teams during his time as STC. I hope his replacement can get better results right away.

Clay has had like 1 good season ever. Our ST are definitely not special enough

WTF are you on about, we had two all pro DB's and he made Adoree Jackson look like a useable CB2, he's the one coach this year I have no issues issues with.

Can't understand this really, our special teams haven't been great, I think we have some players like Ringo and Brown who are decent gunners, but our kick return game was the laughing stock of the NFL until they bit the bullet and asked Covey to come back. Was it the Rams game where we basically muffed every punt? Like you could've got guys out of the stands to field punts and they'd have been no worse. Why do you head hunt the guy that coached that.

Worse...it was kickoffs...I had no idea why Covey wasn't pulled from the PS sooner.

I'm wondering if we are waiting to get an OC to decide the fate of WR coach Moorhead..he needs to go.

I'm hoping we don't lose CB coach Parker, add assistant DC to his title and throw him a little more $$

How so? He is the same kind of coach Nick is. Doesn't call plays on either side of the ball and has been trending down for years

For those who were somewhat hopeful Clay would be leaving for TB for their STs coaching position, I hate to break the news that he isn't going anywhere. Just signed a new deal with us.

I'm ok with Clay. Coverage has been solid, we've gotten blocks and the returns have been on par with the quality of the returners. Could be better but overall solid.
