He signed a 2 year 20 million contract coming off a great season with us… he failed miserably for multiple reasons and is going to make like 9.5 for one year before being cut.

His cap number with us before was around 1.9 and he made like 4.6 on a one year deal.

Well now that Stout is out. I don't see Becton coming back.

Me either… with more reports of Dickerson hitting the airwaves I would put my interest in another former eagle hitting the market in Isaac Seumalo

We're really about to become the Jets, aren't we?

Between this, Jurgens' back and LJ possibly retiring...o

Pump the breaks.

It's been said before, but Dickwrson could stand to lose 20 pounds or so. I don't see how it could hurt him. Maybe he just wants to ride his tractor and be a tick tok personality. Players do retire young.

Wasn't expecting to hear a possibility of him retiring early

I'd love to, but this off-season has been a complete disaster and we're still in the postseason

They should have been in some sort of preparation and having a contingency for this exact situation. They drafted him knowing his injury history. He's been a great player too. With Lane, I've said for the last 3 years that they need to get ready to replace him. Not because of performance. His injuries, and years played, he's done it all. You allow him the grace to make his own decision re: retirement. Another reason to have good draft capitol.

Otherwise, this is some Bizzaro world, Twilight zone transition happening with the Eagles. Are they allowing Nick more control? Why treat Stoutland like a jerk and have him leave that way (Lurie+Howie+Smolenski+NICK? You aren't going to find a better OL coach regardless of who MaNion/Grizzard bring in.

This offseason has been Madness.

I never wanted the Eagles to take him because of his knee surgery's. During his college career at Florida State and Alabama, he tore both ACLs (one in each knee) and underwent multiple surgeries, yet the Eagles drafted him in the second round due to his high-level talent. But you could see this coming- in a way. A short career.

1 year ago we won the Super Bowl. Now it feels like things are falling apart. Amazing what can happen in a year.

Helped us win a Super Bowl ... worth it.

Time to draft his replacement who will help lead us to Lombardi #3.

Fair enough- a good way to look at it for sure.

He'll be back. Just needs a good long off season to reset himself. And lose about 20 pounds.

Does anyone know what the injuries were the affected Dickerson and Jurgens so much. Was is Jurgens back and Ds knee?

I agree he'll be back. People are being overly dramatic about something that every NFL player thinks about after each season. It makes for a good off-season topic and gets clicks. Dickerson still has a lot of guaranteed money he would have to forfeit to retire and that would be a terrible financial decision for a player his age. Is playing worth it? Yeah.

Landon needs to learn to workout and condition like Lane!

I'm a workout freak. Gym 5-6 days a week. I once deadlifted 175 pounds!! showoff

Dragging your ex home after too many margaritas doesn't count! 🤣🤪

To be serious, which I hardly ever am, I hope Landon comes back. He's a good football player.

I don't know how to do this, but he needs to be in better football shape, IMO. Just because you're an Offensive Lineman doesn't mean you need to be a fatty. He's become an injury prone fatty.
