Chris Johnson (not the RB at SMU)

6'0'' 182 CB

Has won special teams player of the year for the team so he has the mentality to do the dirty work.

Has been compared to Devin Witherspoon in play style, thinking he is a big strong man.

4 INTs and 8 PDs this year. He plays the ball, and makes the hits.

This is exactly what I want at CB2. We dont get enough ball production in the secondary. This guy isnt said to be the best man match sticky cover guy. He wins on instincts. Leverage, and knowing where his help is. When I hear that, I envision Cooper DeJean.

I dont necessarily care to have another Mitchell who can be a cape on the WRs back that he cant run away from. I want a guy who covers well enough, but is making plays on the ball. This is that guy.

Ok we have one side of the field shut down with Mitchell. Now who is the guy who is going to make the QB pay for actually getting targeted? Johnson is that guy.

He is a Fangio fit. He has the smarts for our defense, and he is going to support the run.

I like this guy a lot. he would really lock down the secondary with Q Coop and Makuba

Love. Backed it up at the combine. Elite as advertised.
