That’s the issue that I have with all of these ICE raids. Why the hell are they doing most of this masked and without any form of identification? Why aren’t there legit warrants when they are breaking into a house?

Why is Bovino dressing up like a Gestapo agent? Most of this is not about getting all of these horrible criminal illegals out of the country. They know that the country would definitely be on par with that. They are trying to send a completely different message of fear to the general public. There are testing the waters if America will fight back against their authoritarian power grab.

It can't just be about that bc that was already happening. Biden deported plenty of illegals that were criminals, but not as many that were just regular people. Trump had to feed the beast (his base) by deporting more people that were just trying to live their lives, consequently only around 5% of their detentions have been illegals with a criminal record.

On top of it, their top priority is always content generation. Everything is for the cameras, everything is to grab headlines, churn articles, feed social media. It's why the first thing they did to Bovino was ban him from socials. That's the kiss of death in an administration where everyone is hired purely for their PR skills and never for the competency for the actual job. The other problem with content generation is that (much like movie sequels), you constantly have to up the ante. So, first they invaded a few cities but played it more or less straight, but in order to keep people's attention they had to up the ante, had to get more physical with not just illegals but with liberals, so they started attacking the observers and then obviously they started killing them.

Now that there's a reset they'll probably go back to a more straight-forward approach for a bit, but they'll get right back to attacking and killing American citizens before long, because that's what the media environment requires.

They are getting rattled when they roll out Melania on Fox to call for unity.

One of the things with the Obama deportation numbers is that his admin was counting turn-aways at the border as a deportation. The government was successfully sued by the ACLU over it, and they stopped the turn-aways. Of course Faux News, OAN, or Newsmax don't cover that.

Furthermore, Obama having an ineffective presidency does not preclude Trump from getting criticism.

Easiest way to put it to the legal test is this...

Every LE official has to pass the probable cause test when you challenge a person's 4th amendment rights. ICE can legally approach someone and engage in a consensual conversation. The second that consensual conversation goes to a detainment/arrest, you HAVE to have probable cause that the person committed a crime. If that didn't happen, the detainment, search, seizure, and any use of force is immediately illegal as per SCOTUS. They could have found a pound of heroin on him and arrested them for it and it would have been an illegal arrest because it was the fruit of the poisonous tree.

ICE has to prove he did something illegal in the moments leading up to their engagement with him. If they can then they have to justify lethal force.

Both ways are slam dunks for a civil rights attorney.
