Posted Monday at 12:17 PM3 days Christian Parker might take another Eagles assistant to Dallas with himEagles assistant linebackers coach Ronell Williams is reportedly interviewing with the Cowboys.By Dave Zangaro • Published January 24, 2026Earlier this week, the Eagles lost defensive backs coach Christian Parker when he became the Cowboys’ new defensive coordinator. And Parker might not be going alone. The Cowboys are now interviewing Eagles assistant linebackers coach Ronell Williams for a job on Parker’s staff, ESPN’s Todd Archer reported on Saturday afternoon.Williams has been with the Eagles since 2023. He first served as the team’s nickel cornerbacks coach that first season but since 2024 has been the assistant linebackers/defensive quality control coach on Vic Fangio’s staff. Williams has worked with linebackers coach Bobby King the last two years and they have had a ton of success at that position. Before coming to Philadelphia, Williams spent five years (2019-22) with the Bears as a quality control coach. Before that, he was at Temple as a graduate assistant/defensive analyst at Temple. He began his coaching career as linebackers coach at Widener in 2016.Parker, 34, was hired by the Cowboys earlier this week after two great seasons with the Eagles under Fangio. And he isn’t the only Eagles coach garnering DC looks. Defensive line coach Clint Hurtt interviewed for the Dolphins’ DC job, ESPN reported. The Eagles’ defense under Fangio has been excellent the last two seasons, so it’s not surprising to see teams start to hire away some of that coaching talent.https://www.nbcsportsphiladelphia.com/nfl/philadelphia-eagles/ronell-williams-cowboys-christian-parker-nfc-east-interview/709196/
