Posted January 26Jan 26 Re-sign: J Phillips, Blankenship, Fred Johnson, Toth, Sam HowellTrades: McKee + a 4th to Arizona for MHJ (New regime coming in, Kyler Murry will get traded, Michael Wilson broke out, MHJ has struggled with AZ...good buy low on potential). AJ Brown gets dealt to either Buffalo or NE for a 2nd and a 4th. Draft:Round 1 - OT Monroe Freeling, GeorgiaRound 2 - CB Julian Neal, ArkansasRound 2 - IOL - Chase Bisontis, Texas A&MRound 3 - TE Sam Roush, StanfordRound 3 - Edge Malachi Lawrence, UCFRound 4 - WR Malachi Fields, Notre DameRound 4 - S Bishop Fitzgerald, USCRound 5 - LB Lander Barton, UtahRound 5 - DT Demonte Capehart, Clemson1st stab, very early on...certainly things will change as we get deeper into the draft process.
January 27Jan 27 Eagleaddict - good succinct read. i haven't mastered that art myself so hats off to you. Thanks. Do you really tink the CArdinals will give up on Marvin Harrison Jr. That wold be a great deal and imagine if AJ was still here. That receiving trio would be dynomite. Very reasonable group of re-signed players. Probably fits into our cap situation. Interesting draft - sme names that haven't popped up on the board before. Freeling - I haven't seen him rated as a 1st round pick before, but he has the size at 6'7" and he's a Georgia player so it's not unrealisticBisontis - i like the pick and would take him here also. This is where he is on the ratings windowNeal - again, about a round higher than the ratings I've seen, but CB is a huge needRoush - Rating are all over the board, but I think Stanford's overall ineptness has something to do with it. At 260 he's sure be a blocking upgradeLawrence - another fit. Checks all the boxes - positional need, size, and where he's expected to be picked. Fitzferald - another new name for the board. Ratings vary fro 4 to UDFA. Maybe the USC rsults hurt him.Barton - good pick. Nice fitCapehart - the only pick I quiblbe with. We're set at DT. A WR3 is still needed and so it QB3Thanks for the read !

Just did a little preliminary research...I'm sure I have players over or under rated...just found that I like these guys and they appear to be fits for us.Have no idea about MHJ...purely just a thought. He has struggled in Arizona and with Wilson breaking out, MHJ could be expendable with the new regime AND they need a QB.Of the draft players, the ones I initially like the most are Freeling and Roush. Stanford has produced some good TEs.
