Just posting for additional discussion since NOTHING is happening right now...

First, do you think Schefter is reliable about these types of things? I mean, he's a major breaking news guy, but is he still trustworthy when it comes to things he's "hearing" about?

Secondly, if we assume there's truth to this, what could he be referring to?

New stadium?
Sirianni getting fired? (highly unlikely)

What else is worth stoking the flames in Philly for? If it's something that would become public by next week, it would have to be something like a stadium announcement or coach firing/retiring or player retiring.

Pretty sure there’s no trades happening anytime soon so whatever is going on must be FO/coaching staff related. All I’ve seen so far is people leave the building. Rumors the Joe Douglas could be out the door too.

Stadium is considered outdated. If it is then I hope Lurie would know that Eagles fans love bad weather games and if he gets a dome then it needs to be open unless there's lightening in the area

My guess though is it's Lane or BG news and they're just treating it as more than OC news. I doubt it's AJ related

Given that they sent out the questionnaire to season ticket holders about stadium preferences, if it's anything there's a decent chance it's about this. Dome or no dome, etc.

I'm not sure Lane knows what he is doing yet. There is no rush to make that choice, so it's got to be coaching. I'd love to see Nick fired, but Christmas was a few weeks ago.

Really don’t see how you can move on from Nick at this point unless they’re planning to hire someone in the SB. If Nick is gone then it’s because the players want him out.

His major sources of information are agents and the league office. Unless the Eagles have a rat internally I don't think it forebodes Nick's demise.

Schefter's hint may simply be new position coaches that the new OC would want to hire.

Interesting theory. In reality if that happened some of these hot OCs at other teams would want to interview here since Nick is gone. Nick to the Raiders for their 1st rounder?

BLG said it might be them trading Siri and hiring Davis Webb as HC.

Jalen Hurts will be his own OC/QB Coach

Saquon his own RB Coach

Smith will be WR Coach

Nate Ilaoa ("Nasty Nate") as RB coach?

That's idiotic. You get compensation for letting a HC under contract go somewhere they want to go. You can't trade them like they are a player
