Schefter on discussing Eagles hiring a new OC: "and maybe a little more than that."

Siri to the Raiders for the Mr. Irrelevent pick or a bag of peanuts whichever they feel like giving up.

Only way I could see that if he and Jalen Hurts went to the Raiders for the #1 pick in the draft with the Eagles taking Fernando Mendoza.

Chances of that actually happening: Worse than Elvis or JFK being actually alive.

And if that did actually happen, who'd be head coach?

BRING BACK DOUG!!! ph34r

Maybe both Lane and Stout retiring? Stout might be seeing the writing on the wall on the future state of the Oline....

Wentz is a free agent. Reunited!

They are friends, right? They get along?

I don't know if anyone else is hearing this rumour, but word is that Vic Fangio is considering retirement. Could be that. If that happens we really are going to be in trouble

They have a deal in place to trade Hurts once the new league starts. ph34r

I don't see Vic leaving the Eagles high and dry like this unless it's a health thing...if it's true then they need to be on the phone with Schwartz ....

Who TF would trade for Sirianni?? Even if I thought that was possible I would be too embarrassed to mention that idea (directing that to the "someone at BGN").

One team's trash could be another team's treasure? Or....nobody wants to coach the Raiders so suddenly Sirianni looks good to them in the way a triscuit looks good to a dehydrated starving animal?

But yeah, this is a highly unlikely thing anyway.

Not sure if it matters to the offensive changes, but seems like they’re trying to streamline things.

Stout may just be focusing on O line and not run game coordinator.

Silly click bait rumor that people are running with.

Why would he do that and not inform the team earlier? Knowing Christian Parker was interviewing. If he were going to retire, they'd just promote Parker.

Shefter was responding to discussing with the crew next week about the new OC if hired, and Shefter said and maybe a little more than that. That may just mean other position coaches being hired, like a new WR or TE coach or something.

Here's a great one - listening to Birds365 podcast on Wednesday and Brandon Lee Gowton of Bleeding GReen Nation was a guest. His speculation is the Eagles are going to trade Nick Sirianni to Las Vegas.

Maybe this is "the big news”?

He may be gone, but his award will always be in our hearts. 😂

I know I’m in the minority on this, but I kind of want to see a retractable roof stadium. Imagine how loud that place could get. I remember how loud the Vet used to get and it didn’t have a dome. The Linc aesthetically looks the part , but there’s a noticeable difference in the sound. Keep out that old 700 level crowd sure, but give me that sound again.

I think he'd do a retractable. Also think he'd leave it open for the season

Well perhaps the little more is the shock of hiring a young and upcoming OC and giving him the entire offense?

Doesn't the NFL mandate how retractable are used? Something like: In bad weather, teams with roofs that can be closed must close them? Maybe something of a mixed setup like Quest/CenturyLink/Lumen would work better honestly. Not sure I want to play on turf either.

90 minutes: The grounds crew must have the tarp completely removed from the field if the field was covered due to precipitation. If the stadium has a retractable roof and/or wall, the home club notifies the referee or on-site NFL Football Operations representative whether the roof and/or wall will be open or closed during the game. An open roof or wall can be closed after this point only under certain conditions, including precipitation or if hazardous conditions, such as lightning, endanger people in the stadium.

In stadiums with retractable roofs or walls, the home club must notify the referee or the highest-ranking league official working the game no later than 90 minutes prior to kickoff whether the roof and/or wall will be open or closed. The roof and/or wall must be in its designated position by 60 minutes prior to kickoff.

I'd rather take the best available CBin the first round if all not gone already

Grizzard as pass game coordinator.

There, there's your big news.

I've noticed a lot of people have been feeling this way recently, that we should take a CB high? Curious as to why, we took two high in the last draft, are we trying to become the new No Phly Zone? I mean we already kind of WERE with Isiah Rodgers and Slay but...
