We already have another thread on OC, but I'm loving this hire. Telltale sign is all the hand wringing going on in GB. Kudos to the front office for taking their time on this important hire and nabbing their guy. Expecting good things.

I wonder if the mods will merge this with the OC tracker thread. Honestly, this is a huge hire and likely deserves its own thread. The other was for tracking the candidates rumored to be of interest.

Pretty sure you can't edit threads still

I can get behind the upside of this hiring even if it's risky. I couldn't get behind Grizzard or Johnson at all and Nagy and JBC were uninspired choices who would have been minor upgrades over Patullo.

A lot of potential. Not an OC with experience in calling plays. We will see how it works out in real life. I am sure he can design plays, but whether he can handle pressure ??? is to be determined.

A very hot up and coming coach from everything I've read. The only problem is, if we have a good year on offense he will be the head coach of another team by this time next year.

After we win the Super Bowl! excited

hopefully optimistic about this

OMG.

There was only ONE condition for OC that HAD to be met to keep me watching this team next year-
the new OC had to at least have PLAY CALLING EXPERIENCE. Not only does this clown NOT have that,

he only has been coaching for 2 year!

Its Luries fault 1st and foremost. Then Howie. Then Siri. This org has become the 76ers- a crap show.

I'm out and will have a LOT of free time next year.

Manion was the backup QB on the 2018 Rams.

He led the Rams to only 3 less points than Goff in the Super Bowl. True story!

I really like his McVay, O'Connell, and LaFleur influences.

Those guys scheme receivers open all day.

I guess you wanted Nagy, JBC, or Grizzard.

Merge the threads, MODs. Damn you dudes are always sleeping, unless its to give me warning points.

Well, bye...

I’ll take it. Obviously would prefer someone with more experience but I did want a former QB.

Plus he did great with Love.

I created this because title threads are messed up with the board

This deserves its own thread. We wanted this board set up so we don’t have one giant twitter thread or Reddit forum.

Unless the Eagles give Siri the boot and promote him to head coach.

With 3 years total coaching experience? Maybe .....

I don’t really like it but I guess we’ll see. I’m really not surprised that they hired another head scratcher.

Being pretty inexperienced I imagine Siri is going to be doing a lot of close supervision. I don't see any likelihood of a train wreck there, no sireerolleyes
