February 2Feb 2 I would not trade Jalen in a million years. He is a MVP caliper player when coordinators do their job correctly…People are in their emotions after this year, man…Instead, give him a revamped beefed up OL and have Mannion work on his pre-snap game. Mark my words, dude will have a MVP season this year and the following if we can finally keep a damn coordinator for more than one season

February 3Feb 3 but definitely interesting… i actually had a similar thought on a crazy trade the other day but it consisted more of AJ Brown and one of Jordan Davis/Carter for that #1 pick

Jordan has become a leader on the team and in the right way—he’s matured and worked hard to make an impact. Jalen Carter may be the single most valuable piece to the entire defense, as is still so young.

If the answer is no I would think parlaying that in part into a high draft pick would be of benefit… we als have Ojoma who has improved each year and will need a contract.

February 3Feb 3 Im sure with Vic Fangio being on the fence to return as DC part of his decision to return is they keep one of his favorite players who elevated then defence upon his arrival. Jaelen Phillips will absolutely be resigned similar to Zack Baun. In fact the projection for Phillips is 17 million per like Bauns contract 17 per for 3 years at 51 million.

I think a trade means you take on that 9.7 million for the year which I don’t think any team would be willing to do. Thing did not go well for him with the chargers and he has voiced his opinion about his former offensive coordinator and also about the team and how they have dealt with some of his injuries and how it’s not like he is used to. Becton had an awful year! The only upside is that I feel a lot of this was due to injury and scheme and that he could go back to being decent like he was for us.
February 13Feb 13 Author I worked with the profootballnetwork.com mock draft.First I assumed a trade of Jalen Hurts for the #1 pick. Then I tracked the Raiders opportunities and that's what the eagles might/could get/do.I also assumed there is no real top 10 talent enticing the Eagles. Trade the #1 pick to Cleveland for 1 (6), 1 (24), 2(39), 3(70) and a 2027 1. Turned fown Miami offering picks 3, 34, 65, and a 2027 1, and turned down the Jets 2, 16, 33, 44.Then traded the #6 pick for 1(14), 2 (45) and 3 (80) with Baltimore. Eagles end up with 1 - 14 CB1 - 23 OL1 - 24 TE2 - 39 WR2 (45) Edge2 (54) S3 (70) Edge3 (80) QB 3 (90) TE4 OL4 Trade for 20275 Trade for 20275 Trade for 2027
February 16Feb 16 So how are you dealing with the extra 33 million in cap we lose by trading Hurts? 65 million to not have him on our team seem a little excessive. I think something like this is a lot more likely come 2027 if he has a similar season… only cost an extra 4 million then and 45 million cap hit.

For monthis I posted about the Eagles cap situation and how it has us reined in regarding trades of AJ and Hurts, as well as both aspects of free agencies. So, I figured I;d go withthe flow and inaging the cap isn't an issue just as many who post here and TATE do. So, I've learned me lesson. Damned is you do and damned is you don't
February 17Feb 17 Oh yes it’s great to dream and hope that howie can manage the cap no matter what and I’m sure in some realm maybe he can. I was just trying to add to the discussion that 65 million is probably to much dead cap in our current situation while as the 43 million for AJ I think it is maybe isn’t lol.. it’s always fun to have discussion and I love when I log on and there are unread topics in this section! :)
