1 hour ago1 hr We're getting back on the same track regarding free agnecy and the cap. Completely agree on Micheal Carter III. Adds almost $9M to our wallet. Don't thinkn BG is a guy I want for another year. I love the guy but it's time. Not keeping him miglt leave room for Uche or Toth to come back also. Would you really spend $8M (spotrac projectiion) on Ric Woolen? I'd draft a corner early and pass on him. 1 - If we lose Phillips I agree an edge is a day 1 or 2 need. What made you land on Mesidor? You must see something. My view of him is that he's 6'2" 280 and 4.8. That's shorter, heavier, and slower than my ideal edge. slow for an edge at 4.8. 2 - I want Crownover and have been putting him on my mocks. My hope is that he's a 3rd or 4th round pick and we don't have to use a 2 on him. If I get my way the 2nd round pick would be a CB or a WR sonce we're losing starters at both positions. 3 - Klare is a no-brainer. Good call. 3 - Don't know much about Thompson except H-W-S and that among Walter, drafttek, profootballnetwork, ESPN, and ourlads he's projected to be a 4 or a 5. My thoughts - I;m ok iwth a 3 of he's projected to start as WR3 and be a returner. 4 - Beck. AAnother gu I would take as you did. 5 - Jackson has the right H-W-S. Probably would be a contriubtor. I'm happy withthis pock here IF the Woolen signing comes to fruition. 5 - trade. I have no frame of reference for late round trades so I can't offer a cogent comment. 5 - Singleton. Everbody I follow has him in the 5th or 6th except PFF which rates him player # 388 7 - Hall at DT. Not my favorite pick. My view, the room is set at least for another year. With Otten and Klare we still only have 2 TE's. Taking either your scenario or mine we also could still use anothe edge. I'd look at Patrick Payton from LSU at edge or TE Klein form Michigan7 - Virgil. Some nice research on your point. Don't know about speedy pre-combine 40 is reported at 4.53.If your scenario comes to fruition we better hope they do a great job with UDFA's. Thanks pal - good read.
