Another week, another mock draft. This time Howie is playing the comp pick game.

Re-sign;

Braden Mann, Marcus Epps, BG, Dallas Goedert

Cut;

Michael Carter

Jakorian Bennett

Let walk;

Jaelen Philips (comp pick 3rd or 4th rd)

Reed Blankenship (comp pick 5th rd)

Jahan Dotson

Nakobe Dean (comp pick 5th rd)

Restructured/extended

Jalen Hurts

New contract

Jordan Davis

Notable FA;

Bradley Chubb, Edge, Miami Dolphins

Won’t count against the comp pick formula while his former teammate Philips likely will sign a deal elsewhere which will fetch us at least a 4th rounder in 2027 and possibly even a 3rd depending on the contract he signs.

Skyy Moore, WR, San Francisco 49’ers

Slot receiver who might need a change of scenery

Rest of FA signing will all be minor, taking a risk on a player, one year proof it deals etc.

Trade alert!

Eagles trade AJ Brown to the New England Patriots for a 2nd in 2027 and cornerback Carlton Davis post June 1.

Draft;

Trade Alert!

Eagles trade pick No.23 to the Houston Texans in exchange for pick No. 28 and pick No. 106

1 Monroe Freeling, OT, Georgia;

Lane’s understudy and eventual heir

Trade alert!

Eagles trade pick No.54, pick No 122 and a 6th in 2027 to the New York Jets in exchange for pick No.44.

2 Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana;

Future No.2 receiver opposite Davonta Smith

3 Derrick Moore, Edge, Michigan;

Rotational pass rusher with upside

3 Max Klare, TE, Ohio State;

No.2 TE and Goedert’s heir

4 Zane Durant, DT, Penn State;

Combine warrior

4 Harold Perkins Jr., LB, LSU;

LB depth

Trade alert!

Eagles trade pick No.151 to the Buffalo Bills in exchange for pick No.221 and a 6th in 2027

5 Carson Beck, QB, Florida;

QB depth

5 Daylen Everette, CB, Georgia;

CB depth

6 Delby Lemieux, OG, Dartmouth.

OL depth

Nice Ray75...I'll be posting my first shortly with a follow up with the possibility of an AJ trade.

I like Freeling or Miller there and Klare . I almost feel like DG has to be brought back because of the money

it would cost to let him go.

Nice one Ray

Thx man!

In full offseason mode already. Can’t wait to see yours… 👊🏼

Skyy Moore where have I seen that name mentioned before…. Another added bonus to his game I like is as a return man both punts and kickoffs.

Nice off season! If your trading AJ then your going to have to sign or trade for another experienced starting WR. Skyy Moore was in KC & could not put it together so he went to the 49ERS for a change of secnry, so how many changes of secnry does he need? In the AJ trade id ask for Kayshon Boutte then in free agency I make 1 big signing RIQ WOOLEN.

That would be good too but where there is smoke there is fire. New England seems like the prime candidate to land AJ in a trade.

Ray - back from the combine. Was there the 1st 3 days.

I like it. Nice job!

Completely on board with Freeling and Klare. And if Allar is gone Beck in the 5th is a pick I;d make too. If both are gone I;d go Payton later.

Here are some questions.

Who is WR3?

I inderstand Durant's workout was terrific. He stood out athletically and carried himseld with purpose while watching live. But - where is the roster spot for him? Give up on Robinson so soon? If he's our pick, I can see a trade sending Ojomo.

What made you land on Moore instead of Dennis-Sutton or Lucas? Personally I prefer the taller option to Moore's 6'3"

I'd move Everett up a round or so, probably in the slot you have Perkins in. Everett really looked good in Indy.

There's good LB depth, why'd you go for one in the 4th? Looks like Fisher, Boettcher, and Kelly will all be there later.

I haven't seen Lemieux rated higher than player 295. We probably can get him as an UDFA. What had you landing on him?

Thanks for the read and the new ideas.

Thanks Rob! Very interesting you were there! Awesome!

WR3; let Moore, Wilson, Cooper, Covey, Gray and Watkins battle that one out.

Durant and Moore met with the Eagles multiple times already, something tells me they like them. They might offer Jordan Davis a new contract but you can bet they won’t retain Ojomo after the 2026 season;

You’re right on Everett, late 2nd -early/mid 3rd round.

Fangio values linebackers, we still don’t know what we have in Campbell, Trotter and Mondon. They already met twice with Perkins.

Took a flyer on Lemieux, just a depth piece.

Nice haul. Don't think Everett or Allar will last, but let's hope. Looks like you did this on PFF, am I right?

The way free agency is shaping up we are looking at more comp picks in 2027. If Phillips goes it's a 3. Goedert and Blankenship 4's. Dean a 5. Can't imagine keeping more than 2 of them. My point is that the maximum number of comp picks is 4 Howie could sign a FA who balances one of our 5 comps and makes it 4.

Nice job Ray as always.

My first simulated mock.. I assume TE now becomes the biggest need.
