He can block. He is an OK receiver. Hes not explosive, but he has decent enough TE speed at 4.65 (Goedert was 4.64). Cuevas is probably the most physical TE I have seen when running with the ball. I hate that these guys are 240-260 and go down so easily. Not Cuevas. He seems to lack any elusiveness, but he will deliver a blow to the tackler and try to at least fall forward for extra yards. A little like a Brent Celek to him imo.

As a 2nd TE pick later in draft

, possibly one of our compensatory picks I'm. good with him as well..we need and should draft 2 TEs this draft

or draft one high and hope a guy like him is undrafted and sign as a UDFA.

Definaltely a solid option in the later rounds. As many games as Alabama is on TV he seems like a really reliable receiver

Yeah. Still, like with Roush, I hope theres a better plan.

But I like this guy better than Roush. The 4.7 is a buzzkill as is his lack of survival instinct.

This wont be an exciting pick, but a yep- hell get the job done kind of pick. Hopefully more of a TE3 who can become TE2.

I'm definitly taking him late 5 to 6th round, I consider him a Jon Runyan playing TE..nasty attitude and destroyer when it comes to blocking, he can catch also

so he's been on my radar for our # 3 TE

I like him alot and want him with a later pick. He can play Hback or TE and is a good blocker and decent receiver. That kind of versatility is important in Mannion's offense.
