2026 Free Agency/Trade Tracker (Eagles Related Updates)

Featured Replies

The new league year officially starts next week (March 11th) and the "legal tampering period” starts exactly one week from today (March 9th). We’ve already seen announcements of some trades that will be made official on March 11th (e.g. Montgomery traded by Lions to the Texans).

Will use this thread to capture all Eagles-related free agency signings (players we sign, our own that sign elsewhere) and any trades we make.

A rumor to kick things off … we will be moving on from Goedert.

Yay. We have no TE's.

Another rumor (regarding being open to an Ertz reunion).

Nothing intrigues me more about the Eagles off-season than seeing how they choose to put together their TE room.

He's about 55. Coming off an ACL. Blocks on a par with Calcaterra. No thanks. Same with BG. Don't need a 37 year old good for ten plays a game.

I definitely do not disagree (about Ertz). I’d much rather address the position with 2 draft picks and a lower level FA signing (and we still have Latu who I think deserves a longer look). But I would be good with BG coming back. He's a great mentor, when he's on the field he still plays at a high level, we need depth there, and he'd come cheap (he would likely be much cheaper to sign than Ertz).

Ertz has been really good in Washington the last two seasons and would be an excellent mentor should they draft a couple of TE's. If we are going "dumpster diving" in the FA market at TE I would prefer Ertz to most of the options.

He put an Eagle in his tweet! He's coming to Philly, book it! (By the time you read this...) ph34r angel excited

Seems not legit. He says at first about trading Carter and at the end says extend carter to make him the future....

I think he typed it fast and meant Davis

If we traded Carter for Crosby...we better be the ones getting something additional. Straight up, Carter is the better player and far younger. And Crosby just had some kind of meniscus work done too.

Carter for Crosby and the raiders 2nd ;)

There’s no way we trade Carter either…Carter on the verge of being the best dt in the league…hasn’t even scratched the surface of his talent yet…no way we trade him…

Welp there goes that Crosby to Ravens for 2 1st rounders. F that he isn't worth that much

bye Crosby

Is the window still open? Or is it closing fast?

I think that it still open for a short time, and I do not think that it is closing fast, but I get a sense that this coming year... we may be taking a step back with all the new coaching, and changes especially on the offensive line.

Vick may be here next year, but after that???? I do not know.

So the question is: What do we do???? Accumulate more future draft picks? Especially since this may not be such a great draft.

Or go all in while we still have some all-pro players??? This applies to draft and Free agency.

I am leaning towards letting older players walk, and rebuilding, and whatever happens next year happens.

I would think if Phillips doesn't re-sign over the weekend he is probably gone. Might not be the worst thing. The edge rusher market could be the better route with Chubb and Gary being options that wouldn't count against the comp pick formula, and potential bargains like Ebiketie and Epenesa. I would prefer Phillips still but that potential 25 million price tag concerns me.

Ravens are going for it. Better get it done soon before Lamar starts going downhill.
