No one expected Baun to be such a good player. And on the opposite side of that (and going back quite a few years but it is the one that immediately jumps out to me), really no one thought Asomugha would be such a bust here.

That was when we dealt him to Miami to move up 5 spots in round 1, basically the equivalent of a high 3rd rd pick but cleared quite a bit of cap space and set us up to further move up for Wentz. And then for Howie to be able to deal Wentz was another damn good job by Howie!

Just ask my wife. 🫢I think these guys we’ve signed … Ebiketie, Tryon-Shoyinka, Martin … they’re all in the same boat as Uche and Ojulari last year. Sign them on the cheap hoping maybe one might pan out. Have to hope there is a plan to address pass rush with more top end talent (AJ Brown and pick 23 to Cleveland for Garrett and their 4th?? 😬).

Friday at 09:39 PM1 day My hope is that AJ stays this season. If the Eagles decide that they have to trade him, I'd prefer they get a 2027 1st round pick as the centerpiece of the compensation. Especially if it's the Pats.

This is a strange move. He was a 2023 5th rd pick so going into his final year there. And we gave up a 5th and a 6th. His numbers don't jump off the charts: in 2025, 30 catches, 332 yds, 2 TDs; in total over his 3 year career, 108 catches, 1328 yds, 11 TDs.

Because it is rumored to be a much stronger draft class.
