March 17Mar 17 Not like Howie to spend 4-6 mil a year with our cap so tight on a 3rd wr who barely will see the ball in our offense...unless...he becomes wr #2

Their CB's are nuts, but between Mukuba and Epps they could be okay for the season.Agree. Bring Epps back.Signing Hollywood Brown gives the team a speedy WR and former 1st round pick. If AJ is traded, the WR group would have a rather different make-up and lack a central piece. Maybe the new offensive scheme will feature a very different looks. We shall see in the TC.
March 17Mar 17 I've been saying since the end of the season that Epps should come back. He and Mukuba will be the lead Safeties when OTA's commence. I would think, anyway.

That said, he or a rookie will be the number 2 WR, the other the 3rd.

I don’t see the Eagles going into the season with 2 160 pound receivers, as good as Smith is. Hopefully Mannion find a way to make our passing game more dynamic and involve the third WR more.

Jennings is a large target and the best blocking WR in football. Jennings is a superior player than Johnny Wilson all around.

March 17Mar 17 Hollywood Brown had 5 TDs for KC last year. That's not bad for a #3 receiver. He also had 49 catches and 587 yards.By comparison, Dotson had 18 catches, 262 yards, and 1 TD.It's not a bad signing for the Eagles. Hollywood Brown can definitely move into Dotson's role.

March 18Mar 18 Author Garafolo reporting McKee will still be QB2 … Dalton to serve as QB3 (basically replaces Howell).

Ive been pulling my hair out multiple seasons based on Jalens play. SB performance aside, of course. They've used him up. He isnt getting better. He is what he is. Barely a top 15 qb with great players in every position. He is this offenses weakness.
March 18Mar 18 Welcome home AK Ebiketie. Get you to see the parade from the bus side this time. Fly Eagles Fly!!!Bleeding Green NationArnold Ebiketie recalls the exact moment he became an Eag...The Eagles newest OLB talks about his decision to return to Philly and how Jordan Davis helped sway him.

The one time he had an OC 2 years in the row he made second team all-pro.Maybe you are right and he is just a top 15 QB. They aren’t easy to come by and we know we can win it all with Jalen and he’s generally played great in the big games.

Seems odd to trade for Dalton to be QB3. I guess this move is either about having a safety net in case they do end up trading McKee...or....they think Dalton's value will be as a player coach in the QB room.

But they did trade for Howell last year as well so there is precedent for doing so. To me the strangest part is taking on a $4M cap hit for a QB3 ... that is an awful lot for a team looking to save/create cap space on someone who is not going to see the field (like Howell). Unless they do intend to deal McKee and bump Dalton to QB2 ... then $4M makes more sense. I'd definitely be OK going that route and then adding a QB3 in the draft to start grooming to eventually bump up to QB2.
