But salary cap is tight and Eagles still need to make moves at safety and for line depth.

But salary cap is tight and Eagles still need to make moves at safety and for line depth.I think if McKee is dealt it wouldn't primarily be about the salary cap (any trade would result in $46.6K in dead money to the cap and a savings of $1.1M) ... it would be more about the draft pick(s) we would get in return to give Howie more ammo to maneuver around the draft.

No mention of injuries, just said he struggled to keep his starting position

I loved him in the draft and as a rookie but he has been pretty horrible since then.
