Posted 19 hours ago19 hr Free agency fills needs so clubs can draft BPA's. Most of our mocks have been buit around needs. Let's see how Howie can fill needs before the draft. Ok - needs are:Edge - only 2 on the rosterWR - our starting WR3 is goneTE - we have none on the rosterS - it's Mukuba and no one, the Sydney Brown hope is goneCB - so far no CB2. Let's not bet on Michael Carter III emergingQB - only 2 on the rosterP - we don't have oneSpotrac hasn't undated cap space since the Davis and Carter moves so admittedly I'm shooting a bit in the dark here. QB - now that's the easy one. Re-sign Howell for the minimum or consider Trey Lance. No need to go big time with McKee still on the rosterP - no one really out there but Braden Mann. H might drive a harder deal than makes Howie comfortable, but there's really no alternative pre-draftEdge - the story is the Eagles budgeted to keep Phillips but had a walk away #. Let's say that budget was $24M per year with the typical bonus structure saving cap space. My top options now are Chaisson ($8.9M) or Ebiketie ($9.0M). Assuming we draft another we still need 1 at the low end of the salary scale - bring Uche back at the minimum. Bradley Chubb is also still out there and wouldn't impact the compersation formula because he was released. There's also the trade possibility for Jonathan Grennard - for a 3rd rday draft pick - maybe the 6th we unexpectedly got awarded yesterday.WR - there's a hole at WR3, but given the historic usage of our WR3 it's not a huge one. Can't count on Cooper to emerge as a starter. Cheap but solid WR3 prospects for day3 and later in FA are Dyami Brown ($2M), Austin ($4.8M), tolbert ($3.8M). CB - like WR wehave a hole at one of our starters. CArter and BEnnett ore on the roster and could be the answer, but they're too big of a quesiton to count on. I've ben on Igbinoghene for quite a while. At less that $5M grab him. Then there a couple of more expensive guys - Diggs from Dallas for About $8M and Wollen form Seattle for $9MS - as much as we liked Blankenship he was rated in the bottom 25% of safeties in 2025. Again the Eagles supposedly budgeted about $8M for him. Spending a bit more there's Brisker at $10M, Stone is still out there at $8M and Cross at $7MTE - what a **** show. All 3 of our guys are FA's and except for Goedert the FA cupboard is bare and that give Dallas a gret deal of leverage. I don't think howie overpays under pressure so - Maybe Dissley or Jonnu Smith. Resign Granson and draft a top end TE.
4 hours ago4 hr Minnesota is asking for a day 2 pick, not a day 3 pick. My guess is that it’s gonna cost us a late 3rd or one of our 4th rounders to get Greenard but the guy wants a new contract probably at/around 20-25 million annually.
