They only save $690k by trading him. This really isnt a factor.

Real shame, Ravens fans were psyched but Hendrickson is purty nice fall back! And we keep the 2 1-st rdrs. Seahawks sounds like the landing spot to me.

1. Baltimore works out the trade and it'll cost them two 1st rounders.

2. Baltimore talks to Hendrickson, who didn't a get any day 1 offers, and is 100% sure they got him at a reduced price. If they weren't 100% they'd have kept the trade in place.

3. Baltimore Doctor then magically "fails" Crosby's physical and they get their 1st rounders back. I think Crosby's knee will be good to go by September just as reported.

Sorry dude but I'm plugged in on Ravens news and that's not what happened. Ravens actually wanted to sign both of them and/or working on both to insure they got at least one of them. they really wanted Crosby even more than they wanted Hendrickson. Dude's has no cartiledge in the knee, is basically playing bone on bone. Ravens went to multiple doctors, everyone failed him. they STILL went back to Raiders and tried to get him at reduced price but Raiders balked. yes, they look bad for this, but giving up 2 st rdrs for a guy who might have to retire in 2 years was a worse outcome. they already have Madibuike making 25m/yr and he might have to retire with a bad neck.

We'll see. If he never gets back to form, then I'll accept the Ravens' version that his knee is a nightmare. If he thrives back with the Raiders or thrives somewhere else, then I'll go with they were being sneaky. Not judging them good or bad, just sneaky.

i don't think anybody doubts he will be a monster in '26. It's what he does in '28 and beyond that this will be judged on. If he has 3 years at the top of his game, the Ravens F'ed up.

They are putting on a show of everything is fine in Vegas now with this player and contract. If he shows he is healthy and productive and they start out 2-7 or 3-6 then they will move him at the deadline. The remaining cap hit on the salary would be about 17.6m but they can convert most of that to a bonus if they get an extra 5th rounder or something.

His future salaries would be 29m, 26.5m, and 27.4m but they could be converted to bonus and void years, etc before the start of each year.
