I was right about one thing! Howie is playing the comp pick game! Looking at an extra 3rd and two 5th round picks in 2027 already.

We’re set at corner with the signing of Riq Woolen (albeit for one year). Next year Howie will evaluate the position again and I can see them taking a CB high in the 2027 draft. Cost effective while you work on extensions for Mitchell and DeJean.

Re-sign;

Braden Mann, Marcus Epps, BG, Adoree Jackson, Dallas Goedert

New contract;

Jalen Carter

FA;

Arnold Ebiketie, Edge, Atlanta Falcons

(1 year year prove it deal)

Trade Alert!

Eagles trade one of their 3rd round pick to the Minnesota Vikings for edge Jonathan Greenard and give him a 3 year $ 54 million deal with 40 million guaranteed.

Trade alert!

Post June 1; Eagles trade AJ Brown to the New England Patriots for a 1st and a 3rd in 2027.

Draft;

1 Omar Cooper Jr., WR, Indiana;

2 Gennings Dunker, OG/OT, Iowa;

3 Louis Moore, S, Indiana;

4 Sam Roush, TE, Stanford;

4 Tristan Leigh, OT, Clemson;

5 Cade Klubnik, QB, Clemson;

5 Jordan Hudson, WR, SMU;

6 Jack Kelly, LB, BYU.

I think re-signing Adoree' Jackson has been overcome by events, namely Riq Woolen. Solidify corner with a mid-round pick like Daylen Everett.

Mann and Epps are no brainersw - c'mon Howie, get them done and out of the way.

I agree with your edges, i odn't see any other options & makes it a day 2 priority. (Crosby?)

1 - I don't know about the trade but if you're right I don't know if Cooper is my first round guy. Personally, I'd prefer Denzel Boston

I2 - like Dunker - good pick

3 - Nice pick at safety I'd be a coin flip among him, Wheatley or Kilgore

3 - Dennie-Sutton would be a solid pick as would Lawrence, Overton, or how about a new name Kenyon Crawford. All have H-W measurables we now lack

4 - I like Rousch - do you thnk he's a TE1 which looks like he's need to be with the signing of Mundt and Calcaterra

4 - Leigh is a new name - here's the ratings services' skinny as of yesterday which are all over the board - Walters UDFA, PFN UDFA (player 352), Draftek UDFA, ESPN 6th round (player 167), PFF UDFA (player 364), Athletic 5th (player 134)

5/6 Klubnik, Hudson, and Kelly would be nice pick ups. Need a QB3, Hudson looks sloid based on H-W-S, and Kelly battles Chase Campbell, and Ramirez for a roster spot. Loser's) go to PS.

Thanks for keeping hte board moving.

Thanks Rob!

You’re higher on Boston than I am. Like Cooper way more, especially in the offense Mannion is likely to run. Boston is a pure X, while Cooper is more versatile IMO.

The thinking here concerning the OL was that we have Kendall and Williams on the roster. Dunker could outplay Steen and both Williams and him could be used as swing tackles. Why use a first round pick on a tackle who might not even see the field while you can grab a difference maker in someone like Cooper in the first. The perfect complement to Smith…

Although not polished yet, Roush tested very good at the combine with a 38.5-inch vertical and a 10-foot-6 broad jump. At 267 lbs he ran a faster three-cone drill than Kyle Pitts and had a 87 athleticism score, good for third among all tight ends. Something’s there.

Yes, I still believe Howie is not finished at edge after the Ebiketie signing and will trade for Greenard.

I really hope he doesn't do that..too much to give up when you're talking about draft picks AND a contract redo.

I would prefer we draft a young controllable DE with all this money going out now and our future signings like Carter, Q, and Coop.

I agree that I don't think he is done with even lesser prove it deals. I'm thinking Cisco @ safety and another Edge..

Part of me agrees with what you are saying but the other part says; Ebiketie is not enough and a draft pick needs time to settle.

Howie has been looking for that stud pass rusher since the start of the 2025 season. Eagles pushed for Philips, we’re into Crosby and Hendriksen (Dutch name btw) and already have had contact with Greenard’s agent.

I don’t view the Ebiketie signing as the solution. IMO he’s a depth piece like Uche.

I agree with that but since Vic goes with a rotation albeit not big rotation, what if we were able to get a Kendrick Faulk, Zion Young or Gabe Jacas to get in that rotation ...

also allows Nolan Smith to show his worth, if he doesn't we won't be giving him the big $$. I get what you're saying , just trying to get in Howie's head AND try to spread or

cap money out over years and not coming to a head all at once but I guess that's what good drafting does lol

It wouldn’t surprise me…one way or another. If he gives up a 3rd rounder for Greenard, he also has to give him a new contract. I don’t know what he’s looking for but right now he’s in the last year of his deal and up for $ 18 million. My guess is that he wants more…say somewhere in that 20-25 million range. Howie was about to give that to Philips. So I’m leaning towards a Greenard or Sweat trade unless Minnesota’s or Arizona’s asking price is too rich for Howie and/or the player is looking to get payed more than what the Eagles are willing to spend.

Faulk is intruiging and both Young and Jacas are good prospects but they need time.

If it were up to me, I’d trade for Greenard and give him a 2 year deal. That way, my edge room is set and we can focus on OL, receiver, TE and safety in the draft.

My favorite prospects for the Eagles in round 1; Lomu, Miller, Cooper and Thieneman.

Lomu: feels like he’s a year away from being playable due to being light and inexperienced. I don’t really trust the new OL staff with complete projects. While super athletic, also a bit disappointed about the arm length versus Freeling/Miller.

Cooper: I don’t expect AJ to be traded before June 1, so not sure Howie will show his hand at the draft. Also, a good WR draft like every year - so an opportunity to add WR depth later.

Thieneman: as of 3/13, love it - we got nobody of note next to Mukuba, and he’d fit perfectly. Also, could be/should be a top-10 pick.

Drumroll…

Blake Miller, a ton of experience at RT, good athlete / good length, could add more strength but seems to have the right workmen like demeanor to get there. Appears to be a good fit for OZ and more ready to backup Lane this season when he inevitably goes down. Weird that he doesn’t get much buzz, but I guess he’s neither a complete freak or a mauler.

Totally agree.

Doesn’t Blake Miller scream Eagle to you? The kid even said that he tries to model his game after Lane’s and would love to pick his brain. Wouldn’t it be awesome if Howie grants him his wish and make him Lane’s understudy?
