Thursday at 05:33 PM4 days He's retiring in a season or two.Another O Line hole to fill. This is getting ridiculous.
Thursday at 06:17 PM4 days Not exactly encouraging about him being healthy this year. Definitely have to refill the OL pipeline. We could easily lose Dickerson and Johnson after this season...and Jurgens will be a wildcard too. If we want to compete for a SB this year, I'd be taking OL in Rounds 1 and 2. Can't afford the OL to play like they did last year.

MID player. Just a guy. I suppose hes OK.
Thursday at 07:56 PM4 days they are going to be drafting oline heavy in the next two drafts IMO and they need to. while i want to give the new offensive coaching group a chance, i'd sure feel better if stout were here to coach these incoming rookies. again though, i gotta give the new coaches a chance.
Thursday at 08:24 PM4 days No surprise there. His wheels were all refurbished before he ever played a snap in the NFL. This doesn't look like a great year for O-line prospects. Hopefully the Eagles can find at least one really good O-lineman in the draft to be a future replacement at one of the 3 positions where they desperately need a guy.

Thursday at 09:24 PM4 days Eagles line is kind of a mess. Landon agreeing to less years and an incentive contract has me believing that he really was considering retiring and his body isn’t healthy anymore. His knees were bad when they drafted him which is why they were able to get him when they did to begin with. One guard with bad needs, a center with a bad back, another guard who looks like he’s best suited to be a rotational interior lineman, and a tackle who is often injured that could retire at any moment. Howie has a lot of work to do in order to replenish this offensive line.

Friday at 06:30 AM4 days Both Drew Kendall and Cameron Williams played pretty decent late last season. Nobody seems to consider the possibility of either of them developing into a legit starter. Steen has been talked about and he is coming off a very solid first year as a starter. I swear ... the doom and gloom around here is thick. Woe is me ... I don't know what will happen in the future ... poor me ...
Friday at 10:30 AM3 days Seems like a smart move by the organisation. He is incentivised to play well. We don’t have to worry about whether he’ll hang them up leaving us with a huge dead cap hit. And if he decides to continue playing then we can always extend him or bring him back after he’s tested FA.

He was here last year and we saw him choose to play the guys that played --- whether they were hurt and less effective or not. That was his call. We drafted Andre Dillard under him and he didn't work out. We Drafted Matt Pryor under him and he was mostly awful until he left, finally had a good season for another team, came back here and was awful. There are a lot of other teams in the NFL that also had good O-lines over the years. The players liked Stoutland. Maybe they'll like the new guy too. But any player that wants to be great is going to have to put in the work regardless of who the coach is.
Friday at 04:53 PM3 days Sorry, but I think it’s pretty unrealistic to think these middle to late round picks will all be the answers to the Eagles offensive line woes. I mean clearly Dickerson and Cam were clearly hobbled all last year, but they kept putting them out there. Lane was injured for a good portion of the season and the ran to Fred Johnson a guy they originally didn’t bother resigning. This situation won’t be fixed by the backups we have right now. To try and hype up these mid round picks while dismissing the guy who was developing them is crazy work. 😂🤣😂

We all agree on that, but he's not the only good O-line coach to ever grace the sideline. The Eagles have actually had a few over the last 3 decades. We have no way of knowing how developmental prospects will eventually turn out. Mailata started his career as one and he wasn't trusted to step on the field until his 3rd season and he kept getting better the more he played. All I know is Cam and Drew both looked better than our experienced backups last year when given a chance to play and they didn't get the benefit of playing alongside the starters. So there is reason to have some optimism they can continue to improve regardless of the name of the position coach. So should we put all our eggs in that basket? No. We don't have to since we have starters at those position already ahead of them. They can keep developing in practice or maybe they'll get their shot if an injury happens. But right now, the plan is we start Mailata, Dickerson, Jurgens, Steen and Lane Johnson. "But ... but ... what if they all get hurt and retire during the season?" What if all your tires go flat on your way to work? Do you carry four spares? I mean ... some of the people here must not ever sleep knowing deep down that only bad things are possible. We can draft 3 offensive linemen with our first 3 picks and they can all get hurt too ... or worse ... become NFL busts. Draft BPA and stop reaching for Dillards, Reagors and JJAWs.
Saturday at 08:34 AM3 days I think it tells a lot about Dickerson. He will not last long. That and LJ situation make me think Eagles should make OL safety and DE a huge priority for the draft
18 hours ago18 hr The loss of Stoutland is going to be felt this year.......Chris Kuper is a pretty unaccomplished replacement.
