And they somehow get a salary cap credit from the Jaire Alexander trade. Additionally Alexander had to pay back $889K to the Eagles.

Letting Nakobe Dean walk is the dumbest thing the Eagles have done since trading away McCoy. Just my opinion

I really like Dean in our defense. It took him a couple years to become reliable in coverage (which is expected for off ball LBs coming into the NFL) and he's the guy you want wearing the green dot. I believe he was the closest thing we had to a leader on defense.

But we were preparing for this when we drafted Campbell. He gained valuable experience as a rookie and didn't disappoint. It's never great to miss opportunities to work, but unlike years past, I'm pretty confident in our depth with Trotter and Mondon if Campbell isn't ready in time. It's also a great opportunity for Trotter to gain practice reps with the 1st team.

I hate seeing Dean go, but I still like the room without him.

It seems like every year we have a common injury theme.

Nakobe Dean brought a lot more than on field production.......he is a pure and inspirational leader.....he's shown that all thru college and in the pros. But he has an injury history and the eagles were up against the cap. I think he'll have a huge impact on the raiders defense.

I was thrilled when the eagles got him in the draft, but the writing was on the wall when they drafted Campbell......

Did Campbell have an injury history in College??

Will sorely miss Nakobe. He's a good player between the Tackles and in the box. Good blitzing skills also.

They played too hard in the SEC in College. Or maybe had the issues from weight training.

Carter had no shoulder issues before 2025.
