Finish up free agency, mock draft and a blockbuster trade

Re-sign - Everybody's favorite back up safety, Marchs Epps

Post June 1 trade - Straight up AJ Brown for Max Crosby

Draft -

1-23 OT Blake Miller, Clemson- Freeline and Ioane will be long gone and I like Miller better than Iheanachor (raw) or Proctor (probably not a fit for new system)

2-54 G Jennings Dunker, Iowa - Howie doubles up on the OL. Steen will be a FA in 2027 and Dickerson's health is questionable

3-68 WR Elijah Sarratt, Indiana - Has size at 6'2" and speed 4.42. Immediately becomes WR2

3-98 Edge - Dani Dennis-Sutton - the room is now complete. Crosby, Hunt, Smith, Ebekitie, and DDS

4-122 S Jalon Kilgore, South Carolina - starter by mid-season.

4-137 TE ELi Rairadon, Notre Dame - a blocking machine who can catch. Run that card up there.

5-153 C/G Trey Zuhn III, Texas A&M - bigger than Kendall and has G versitility. Replaces Toth

5-178 QB Drew Allar, Penn State - whether we trade McKee or not, we need 4 QB's

6-215 WR/RB/KR Eli Heidenreich, Navy - he does it all and is the kind of person every team wants around.

Well…I like the draft. Miller would be a plausible and sound pick for the Eagles as will Dunker in the second.

AJ will be gone but I believe Howie rather takes draft compensation instead of getting Crosby straight up.

There are multiple scenarios I can seen unfold;

  • A draft day trade sending AJ to the Rams for a swap of first round picks and a future 2nd and 4th or 5th. Howie taking Ioane at #13.

  • Small trade up for Ioane if gets past the Ravens at #14;

  • AJ to the Pats post June 1;

  • Eagles trading for Greenard post June 1 but it wouldn’t surprise me if Vikings want to keep him (extension there);

  • Eagles taking Omar Cooper Jr. in the first;

  • Most plausible scenario; OL in the first, AJ to the Patriots. If Ioane is out of reach, Miller would be my choice. Most pro ready, perfect heir to LJ. Not in love with Freeling, Proctor and Lomu. Edge, WR and S in 2nd and 3rd round.

Can’t wait!

Love the draft! I'd be pretty content with OL in rounds 1 and 2 (I like Miller and Dunker) and I do like Sarratt in the 3rd. DDS would be a steal at 98 (personally, I seriously doubt he will last until then) and likewise for Kilgore in the 4th (and I also don't think he'd last that long either).

Agreed…both DDS and Kilgore will likely wind up 3rd round picks and they even have a chance of sneaking into the 2nd round.

Thanks Ray - I don't think these are in the cards.

Trade to the Rams - Unless Howie thinks AJ is shot I don't think he sends him to another super bowl condender.

Trade up ahead of #14 - thats not a small trade up, my friend. By ourlads value chart 23 to 13 is worth 390 point which is mid-2nd round value

BUT

AJ to the rams to #13 (Chiefs pick) is tempting
