I’ll go up first.

I believe Vega Ioane is the guy they want but we all know he’s not going to be there at #23. If he slips past the Ravens at #14, my guess is that Howie’s making some calls to trade up.

Tyler Steen is in the last year of his rookie deal and Landon Dickerson will probably retire in a year or two. IMO guard is at the very top of their needs.

After that it’s RT, WR, TE, edge and S. CB is something for next year but this season they’re set with the addition of Woolen.

At OT guys like Monroe Freeling and Francis Mauigoa will be long gone at #23 and I do not believe Eagles would take Kenyon Sadiq or a safety in the first. You also have Spencer Fano who some teams have as a tackle while others have pencilled in as a guard.

Both Bell and Iheanachor could possibly be targets if they trade down a couple of spots.

I could have added some pass rushers like Faulk, Young and Mesidoor in here but I truly believe it’s going to be offense in round 1.

If they trade up it’s probably going to be for Loane. If they stick and pick likely Miller, Iheanachor, Proctor or Cooper, trade down possibly Iheanachor or Bell.

What do you think?

At #23 Miller would be a solid but unspectacular pick, Iheanachor might feel as a reach but the kid has more upside, not a fan of Proctor who gives me pre Eagles Becton vibes and Cooper I like but he’s not a true X.

Chris Bell or one name not mentioned here is Chris Brazzell. Won't take either at 23 but a trade down picking up a 3rd rd pk. I go with wr because even if AJ Brown isn't traded get his replacement in the building now. So he is ready to start opposite Smitty in 2027. I'd look a Austin Barber in 3rd rd at OT hes a LT that fits new offense will transition to RT in rookie season and be back up for Mialita as rookie while Big Fred backs up Johnson. In the 2nd they should grab an Edge, I like Malachi Lawrence. That leaves 2 3rd rd picks for IOL & S. The in the 4th at 114 pray Sam Roush is there or grab Joe Royer.

1 Chris Bell/Brazzell WR

2 Malachi Lawrence ED

3 Austin Barber OT

3 Bud Clark S

3 Brian Parker Jr OL

4 Sam Roush/ Joe Royer

There are 4 picks left for roster depth.

Good topic for the board to ponder. I like it.

Ioane is only reachable with a trade up. I've done dozens of mocks on nfllnetwork's draft simulator and haven't come close to getting him

Cooper will be gone by 54 so it's 1st or never

One of the OT's seem to be conventional wisdoms pick. We've discussed this - you like the Big I and I like Miller.

Bell and @Eagle3171 's thoughts on Brazzell make good sense although based on Walterfootball, drafttek, ESPN, pro football focus, pro football network, and the athletic both chould be available in the 2nd.

I do see a way a safety or edge are picks in the 1st. If the AJ trade brings a 1st then Theineman and all the edge's but Bailey, Bain, and Reese are in play.

Maybe next week we can start a thread regaridng second day tqargets and the week after look at 3rd day picks.

I think you’d be lucky if Brazzell falls to you at #54 but I can’t see Bell being available there. But who knows? Maybe we luck out!

Little correction;

I’m not higher on Iheanachor, I just think the Eagles prefer his upside over Miller’s high floor / low ceiling.

Last but not least;

You haven’t made a pick!

I could definitely see Loane being in Howies cross hairs and would not be upset if we did but I wonder about some of the guys we brought in

last year for the OL that maybe a new set of eyes and scheme fit might serve better moving inside. I prefer Miller over Iheanachor and want NO parts of Proctor...

It would not surprise me to see Howie trade up in the 2nd like he did for Coop for a DE or WR.

I can definitely see that.

I like Miller but you and I both know Eagles like guys rising up draft boards, are standouts at the senior bowl and combine and have that raw untapped potential and pure athletisism. Therefor I believe Max Icheanachor is sitting high on their draft board.

I too don’t want a part of Proctor. For Some reason I think this kid just doesn’t have the determination to be great. I don’t know the kid at all but he comes across as uninterested and somewhat lazy. Relies too heavily on his strenght and size/mass but doesn’t want to put in the work. Maybe I’m too harsh now but that’s the vibe I’m getting… If Stout would still be here, I’d feel more comfortable taking him.
