About one week out. Finally the draft is upon us. I don’t know about you guys but I find this period of the year (FA, Draft) exhausting. Trying to keep up with all the news. And like each year there hardly is a dull moment with this team. Always some kind of controversy.

But hey, I’m done with thinking about all the scenarios that could play out.

Do I think the Eagles will trade AJ Brown post June 1?! Absolutely! I can even see him getting traded on draft night.

Do I think there’s a chance Howie gives up a 3rd to acquire Jonathan Greenard from the Vikings?! Sure as long as the contract he demands isn’t too rich for Howie’s likings. If this gets done, it’ll be before the draft cause Vikings want that pick this year.

Might Tanner McKee get traded? Possibly…

But I decided I’m not getting into that stuff anymore in what is my final mock.

Although there isn’t as much traffic on this board as it used to be, it’s been a blast as always. Thanks guys!

So here goes. A final mock based on intel on Eagles interest and top 30 visits.

1 Max Iheanachor, OT, Arizona State;

2 Treydan Stukes, DB, Arizona;

3 Dani Dennis-Sutton, Edge, Penn State;

3 Brian Parker II, OC/OG, Duke;

4 De'Zhaun Stribling, WR, Ole Miss;

4 Kaleb Proctor, DT, SE Louisiana;

5 Nate Boerkircher, TE, Texas A&M;

6 Andre Fuller, CB, Toledo.

Hard pass on Max and Stukes.

The more I think about it, the more I think a high Safety pick is in the cards. Especially if they fall due to the volume of OTs, WRs, and Edge going higher than anticipated...

I'd be shocked if we don't flip a 3rd and 4th for Greenard or Sweat if either team are truly open to moving them. A single 3rd isn't getting the job done for either, IMO. Especially given the value around the position and them both being 28/29.

I’m wondering why you don’t like Iheanachor and Stukes.

The former has one the highest upsides of any offensive lineman in the class and the latter is a somewhat older but versatile DB.

Plus they both had top 30 visits and Eagles seem to be interested.

Stukes due to age (I want to invest capital in guys sub 22 that have a shot at developing into legit starters by the time they hit 24).

Iheanachor, just not crazy about him as a prospect. If we had Stout, maybe I'd be higher on him. But would much rather go another route at OT.

Well…I’m honest here. I’m not a fan of this class at all.

Lack of blue chip prospects and about all the kids who likely will be available at/around #23, there’s no one who truly excites me unless one of the top guys falls and Howie moves up for a specific prospect. I’m talking about Ioane, Bain, Sadiq maybe Thieneman etc.

Proctor scares me, Freeling and Iheanachor are not ready (nor do they have to be), Boston is a big X who can’t really separate, Cooper’s best spot will likely be in the slot (in space), Faulk is a great run stopper but isn’t a good pass rusher yet, Tyson’s injury history scares the **** out of me, Mesidor too old…

The value is in those middle rounds…

Stukes has been listed as both a CB and Safety. I'd be ok with him at safety.

While I;d prefer a trade down and then take Miller, I think "I's" potential is worth taking him.

I'd be very happy with the first 4 picks. There are alternatives at safety and edge at those slots, but these would be solid picks.

I'm not high on the 4th round, especially taking a DT inlieu of a QB. I know the other 2 were in for 30 visits, but I think there are better prospects at those positions at those slots.

Ray - I just don't see a corner in this draft.
