Posted April 21Apr 21 I believe this is the most wide open draft in the last 20 years. Ironically, I’ve never seen this many draft pundits parroting the same names over and over. There are going to be a few Round 1 names who surprise everyone.I’m not sure if Malachi Lawrence still counts, but the Eagles might definitely draft him on day one. Also, Keylan Rutledge wouldn’t shock me. The Eagles might be playing with two different OG next year.My long shot pick in Round 1 is OSCAR DELP. Athletic freak who can also block. Maybe the Eagles trade down. Maybe he goes to SF or NE.

April 22Apr 22 I see there are big rumours that Mauigoa needs back surgery sooner rather than later, I wonder if he might slide into range on draft day. Howie might be tempted to take the shot, given they can stash him behind Lane while he heals up for a good recovery anyway, him and Fano are a step above the other tackle prospects for my money.

I'd sooner take the risk on a more raw player like Iheanachor who doesn't have the injury concern.

April 23Apr 23 The Guard from Penn state. I think hes the best OL in the draft but since hes a guard he'll slide and some less talented tackles will go before him

If he is being considered I'd certainly hope Howie et al have done their home work.
