Posted April 24Apr 24 I read where folks in tate are talking about, getting a TE to pair with goddert, another WR, they still have hurts, who want go through his progressions to get to the 3rd,4th WR, these guys wont see many ball thrown there way this year, it'll be smith, Goddert catching the majority of balls
April 25Apr 25 Hurts is a frustrating QB. He is not Joe Montana or Tom Brady.Sometimes, last year, he did just enough to win and it seemed conservative, not running. Yeah, we won but looked weak.Not sure Hurts will ever go through the progressions to find the open receiver. Seems to force the ball to a single target.Maybe Hurts' last year is coming up. Who knows? SB window is still open, but it's kind of shaky.I fear that we haven't done enough this draft to fix the OLine. We had no push from Dickerson and Jurgenson due to injuries. Those two are close to injury retirement. So, we are living a lie if we think we're okay on OLine.We patched holes at WR, DE. Drafted our future TE, post Goedert. OT was a reach. Probably because we had no 4th round picks. We'll see if the OT pans out.Howie sure deals fast and loose with the draft picks. Flushes them away like dirty water, two at a time. Get Howie away from the picks, bruh.No use sweating 4th through 7th round picks. Maybe you find a gem, but the hit rate must be less than 50% at that point in the draft.Maybe we can draft an interior OLineman or a special teamer on Day 3. Don't think we're drafting a QB or trading Tanner McKee (overrated by Howie).After the draft, Howie needs to hit on undrafted free agents (QB, K, DT, C, CB, S) and then get back to work on free agency, post 4/29, when free agents don't count against next year's Comp Picks.Ahem, Time is Yours. -Andy Reid
April 25Apr 25 Author yes, banking on dickerson and lane to hold up all year long is crazy, and thats too bad for them, they are some the all time great eagles players, but they are gonna have to hope whoever they bring in to help the line works out or its gonna be a tough year, watching saquon getting hit behind the LOS alot, hurts needs to carry this team, which I dont believe he can or wants to do
April 26Apr 26 We have 3 big Olinemen that are not premium players or day 1 starters.Article I read said that we have 2 similar players that were selected in 2025 draft.But, we didn't play those guys even when Dickerson and Jurgens were hurt.Yet to be seen whether any of this year or last year OLine are ever worth a damn.I know we brought back Fred Johnson. Wanna see them bring back Mekhi Becton.Do this and I will feel slightly warmer and fuzzier about the OLine.
