June 1Jun 1 Have the Jets under either one been great judges of talent? I wonder how great they will be here.

Personally, I think the jets ownership is a dumpster fire that doesn't allow the GM full authority......the jets ruin QBs, head coaches and GMs........I think both these guys will be a benefit to Howie and the scouting department.

After that? Not so much. Maybe it was his scouting department that was middling. I don't know. Maybe his contributions to the Eagles will be terrific. I don't know about that either. I only ask the question because finding Quinnen Williams at #3 overall, Sauce Gardner at #4 overall, or Garrett Wilson at #10 overall aren't really super difficult accomplishments. That said, I agree that he is still well respected, and I'm not condemning him. I hope his work with the Eagles this time around proves off the charts good and he helps find all pros in the later rounds. Time will tell.As for the other guy, I don't know anything about his track record. I hope that he also contributes in a big way to what I want, which is the Eagles' stellar success in the near future and beyond.

Living down here in Houston, he's been okay for the Texans but its not like he's setting the league on fire. Out of curiosity I checked ESPN and ironically his best year statistically was with the Eagles in 2019 with 6 sacks and 2 forced fumbles.

July 6Jul 6 We've had a lot of worse 1st round picks than Barnett. He may not have ever been award-worthy, but he was a solid starter for us. Dillard and Reagor couldn't even do that much.
