I hate to have such a chalkie list, but these movies are masterpieces.

Honorable Mention: Blazing Saddles, Dirty Harry, The Bad News Bears

I’m interested to see how many people prefer The Godfather: Part II to The Godfather. I am not one of them.

Popular movie I didn’t like from the 70’s: Chinatown

I preferred the 90’s version better: Falling Down over Taxi Driver

Might have to put Rocky at 5 over Network. Totally forgot Rocky.

this decade doesn't do much for me. I'm basing off movies I have rewatched multiple times and most likely will watch more times over the remainder of my life.

Rocky

Rocky 2

Halloween

Superman

Star Wars: A New Hope

Just going with some not already mentioned

Alien

Dawn of the Dead

Texas Chainsaw Massacre

Jaws

The Deer Hunter
