We don't need to carry him on the roster or practice squad.

Cant play in college and NFL won't stand for it either?I don't think Howie gets him. Probably another team outbids Howie.Sorsby is supposed to a top 3 QB in the upcoming draft. Maybe a second rounder.
May 23May 23 Author Side note, if Sorsby goes to the Jets or Browns, it will be the kiss of death to his career. That's where young QB's go to fail.

Arch Manning may rise and come out as well.He probably would have been drafted in next year's class somewhere from end of round 1 down to round 4.Why should the Eagles be in the market for Sorsby?Andy Dalton is signed through next year.Tanner McKee probably walks at the end of this year. His star is fading.Cole Peyton is a late round pick and unprovenAssuming Andy Dalton is the backup for the next 2 years.After that it's Cole Peyton or Brendan Sorsby or a free agent as backup.But, is Brendan Sorsby a potential starter in the NFL?And, we need a potential starter behind Jalen Hurts at some point.So, the Eagles could burn a 2nd or 3rd for Sorsby, if they want him.And, they could still be outbid for his services.
June 21Jun 21 I think a team above the Eagles in draft order are likely to pick him. There are teams more in need of a higher pick Quarterback than the Eagles. Jalen seems like Jeffrey's pet so it's unlikely he goes anywhere anytime soon. As a backup I like McKee but his style of play is different than Hurts and I'd think it would be better to have a backup that plays the same style of Quarterback play as Hurts. Could Cole Payton grow into that? He sounds more mobile than McKee.
June 24Jun 24 Author The NFL has indicated that no supplemental draft will be scheduled to draft Sorsby.So, Eagles will probably not get Sorsby in a traditional style draft.Sorsby will go to a perennial loser like the Jets, J-E-T-S, Jets.Cole Peyton will be the future savior of the franchise for Hurts Haters, unless McKee can revive his sputtering career.
