I was just watching a video on YouTube about how teams are looking for stud dts in the middle and prioritizing dt now more than de... We have two of the best 👍

It's risky but worth it. He's the best DT when healthy and locked in. Never forget he stopped the Rams single-handedly before winning the Super Bowl.

glad they locked him up. It was gonna be crazy money but when he is on, he plays like the best in the world.

Jurgens was awful last year, so, hopefully he’s healthy and plays better this season.

And did I really hear the morons on WIP complaining?!? I think it was Spike whining about how the defense is going to suck because they won’t be able to keep Q and Coop. These guys can’t ever be happy about anything.

I thought they would wait, but Howie likes to do these deals early and set the market. They'll have the Coop and Q contracts coming up. They'll need to lock up DeJean early since he was a second round pick. They have the extra year with Q, but this defense is about to go from one of the cheapest to one of the highest paid in the league

Yeah agreed. I thought they wouldn’t be able to get it done and would wait.

It’s a risk, but this will look like a bargain if he plays up to his potential.

Why in god's name would you listen to that station.....here is the format....find something to complain about "AJ Brown this"....gets traded away, "Rumblings they are going to trade Carter...."....gets re-signed, "Jalen Hurts can't win..."....etc, etc. They are like a woman on their period 24/7, 365 days a year. If you want to put yourself through that abuse...well, you deserve it.

I listen to WIP as a podcast from the UK. I get what you mean but I think you just have to approach it like it’s a soap or long running tv show. Spike likes to be controversial and so he’s always going to look at the negative approach. Ike then is the ultra positive one and Fritz is the simple cousin that says stupid stuff to get a laugh. They have to fill a 4 hour show 5 days a week so they can’t talk about how rosy everything is.

Of course, that's radio...i.e., "theatre". At least, well sometimes, they try to find a logical "reason" to complain about something or take a differing viewpoint just to create talk and arguing. You know when I listen to WIP (which isn't often at all)? It's when I'm pissed off at the Eagles. I'll get my dose of Eagles vitriol to help me get over it because they'll sometimes go so far over the edge it makes me want to shift to defending them instead of continuing to bash.
