August 24Aug 24 https://www.nbcsports.com/nfl/profootballtalk/rumor-mill/news/49ers-owner-jed-york-was-arrested-in-ohio49ers owner Jed York was arrested in OhioBy Mike Florio Published August 24, 2026 11:03 AMOhio is suddenly a hotbed of NFL dysfunction.Per multiple reports, 49ers owner Jed York was arrested on Sunday in East Palestine, Ohio.Per WKBN, York pleaded no contest on Monday morning to two misdemeanor charges of disorderly conduct and "possessing criminal tools” (here’s the relevant Ohio statute).York, per the report, was already sentenced to two days in jail (with credit for one day served) and $1,150 in fines.According to KRON, the prosecution had amended a charge of engaging in prostitution to disorderly conduct.York presumably will be subject to NFL discipline under the Personal Conduct Policy. Given the perception that owners are treated differently than players, it will be interesting to see whether and to what extent York receives the same or similar punishment that a player would experience for the same offense.
August 30Aug 30 The 49ers are a weird vibes franchise.NFCCG in 2011, 2012, 2013, 2019, 2021, 2022, 2023SB appearances in 2012, 2019, 2023They still kinda feel like the Cowboys.
September 2Sep 2 I give them credit this roster should have fallen off the cliff 2 years ago. 49ers and Chiefs are crashing this year imo.
